best swimming on the island.......great food, great people. You can be in the most beautiful place in the world but still the people make it what it is. Easy 5 min walk to scooter hire at The Boat Shed Bar and Restaurant as well as the Koru Cafe. But the food at Samade is fantastic you don't need to go anywhere else. I loved the friendliness of Thomas, Ned, Lexi and all the others whose names I never got - nothing was too much trouble - and of course Ned always insisted on more cocktails!!!!! Can't wait to come back!!!! My only recommedation to the new owners would be to update both bath towels and beach towels - but no biggie really just a recommendation.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Samade. The location is great, in terms of the fabulous beach, but a bit removed from town or other other dining options (easy enough to rent a scooter and get over there). The staff are lovely and helpful, especially Lexie, Elaine and Alone, but the rooms are a bit run down and lacking in charm. With the needed refurbishment from new owners, I hope they can keep the lowkey friendly atmosphere. It's a great value.

We had dinner here one night; it's apparently under new management (1 month only) so we wanted to check it out. We were impressed by the casual laid back dinning "'island" atmosphere - the food is flavoursome and nicely presented. The "Ika Mata" (marinated raw fish) was some of the best we ate on the Island. It's located right next to the lagoon and adjacent to Otoo Beach. The staff are friendly and the service efficient.

We spent 3 relaxing days here. Met some lovely guests to spend time with at the beach/restaurant. Used paddle boards, and swam in the idyllic lagoon. Hard to leave! Needs a revamp though,so the new owners have their work cut out for them .. good luck Thomas and team. Recommend cafe nearby for great service, need insect repellent there though, the mozzies own the place. Nearby pub has good food too. If you want to do some great snorkelling use Tekings for a trip to the outer lagoon. Would love to come back to Samadis some day.

Room Tip: They are all in the garden, one with evening sun is nice (facing west)

Friendly, helpful staff. Good luck to Thomas and his new adventure, don't put your prices up too high or you will lose custom. Thank you Lexi for your help and advice. We would love to come back for another visit one day
