hese cosy villas are located meters from the best beach in Aitutaki. The sunset views are fabulous and the beach is beautiful. The two floor villas are spacious and very cleaned with a nice simple decoration. Each of the villas has a canoe and scooter which you can use. Having stayed in other places and having struggled to find a nice place, a villa in Aitutaki Beach Villas is definitely the best quality price you can get in the Island. Thank you Paka for making our holiday in Aitutaki unforgettable.

Room Tip: Any of the villas is excellent...

The location is superb. The staff were friendly on arrival and departure, but were absent otherwise. Coming from more comfortable accomodations on the island (ie. air conditioned, turn down service, bar, and living people to ask questions of), we thought we were left to discover the ants and bugs in the room on our own. The air conditioning was broken, and it was so hot... Thank goodness it rained and kept us cool :)

It is affordable and we felt safe, so not all was disappointing!

Thank you for your review Dusrin F. It is with regret that Dusrin F had a bad experience during his 4 days stay with us. Our accommodation is not a high end, turn down serviced hotel but a reasonably priced self-catering accommodation where guests are left on their own, to enjoy a home away from home. Once checked in, guests have the necessities of home living. Our bungalows are well equipped with linen & towels, kitchen facilities, kayaks etc. We also have an in-house mini-bar for guest convenience. Each bungalow has a large refrigerator to stack own beer, wine & food for own cooking. For those who do not wish to cook, there are restaurants within close distance from villas. With such facilities we envisage our guests enjoy their stay with minimal interruptions, do their own-thing, without the services and etiquette of the high end hotels.

Staff are always around (though not 24/7) and are contactable by phone when needed for any service required e.g. extra towels, servicing, organizing lagoon cruise, tours, dinner etc.

We regret Dusrin F did not ask about the air conditioning and assumed it wasn’t working.
Air conditioning comes with a surcharge; rooms are sold with either a ceiling or wall fan for comfort. (Note the air condition is in working order and we have not replaced same since Dursin’s visit).

Aitutaki is generally “hot” through-out the year. On occasions, during the rainy periods, bugs are known to come indoors for shelter – this is a natural phenomenon in our part of the world experienced by all spectrums of accommodation styles on the island. Ants are also attracted to food left out so guests are encouraged to keep left overs and food scraps in the refrigerator for collection and disposals to minimize attracting ants into the villas.

We take pride in our small family accommodation and ensure that our rooms and surroundings are clean, safe and comfortable and are strayed in between visits to keep bugs out. Regardless of the measure we take, there are bound to be some bugs that enter the villas.

It is with deep regret that Dusrin F had a bad experience and we take this opportunity to offer an unreserved apology to Dusrin F and partner for what was a little disappointing stay with us.

Nevertheless we thank you Dursin for your comments, as this enables us to continuously review our standards and services in order to offer all our guests an enjoyable stay at our villas.

Kind regards
Tini family

Coming from the big smog (Sydney), I’m so glad Aitutaki Beach Villa provided me with the comfort I needed. A well maintained and clean villa that provided all the essential of a home atmosphere. Thank you for the complimentary fruit basket which was unexpected, we turned them into fruit cocktails:P and to The Tini family for being very informative, helpful and hospitable. Most importantly the luxury to loiter on the beach any time of the day as if it was our own private haven, that was merely meters from our door step.

Will be back again:)

Room Tip: Stayed in Villa 4 but will make sure to stay in Villa 2 next time for great sunsets.

Thank you Aitutaki Beach Villas for providing the holiday my family and I so needed. We cannot ask for a better holiday, everything at our disposal...Our 3 year old son and 13 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the beach which was only a few meters from Villa 2. Not having to fight for a space on the beach or travel a fair distance is a bonus indeed. The villa was well equipped and was well suited to our needs.
Thank you to the Tini family for being informative and organising our cruise with Aitutaki Adventures not once but twice!!
We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Villa 2 a must

In early September 2011, my partner and I were fortunate enough to stay at Aitutaki Beach Villas - we had the absolute beach front villa. The villa was perfect in every way - attractive decor, clean, very roomy, all the comforts of home (and more), brilliant bathroom and the linen was purrfect! Obviously being 'absolute beach front' means you have an amazing view from inside and outside the villa every second of the day! The airport, main town and several small shops are all a short drive from the villas. It was great to be able to arrange bike hire before arriving on Aitutaki and have our bike waiting at our villa upon arrival. Paka (host) is, as others have said, amazing and takes care of everything effortlessly. The only thing my partner and I didn't like was the fact that we had to leave!!

We were not sure what to expect but booked at the Aitutaki Beach Villas based on TripAdvisor reviews. So glad we did!!!

Yes, there are a few very beautiful, big, fancy, expensive resorts on Aitutaki but if you are looking to save a bit of money, get away from the crowds, have all the comforts of home and enjoy your own company this is THE place to stay.

1- Groceries on Aitutaki are exceptionally expensive but it was great to have a fantastic kitchen to make breakfasts and snacks and keep drinks icy cold.
2 - The location was outstanding. We could walk down the beach to great restaurants, the snorkeling right out front our villa was outstanding and we had the option to rent a scooter which took us everywhere else we wanted to go
3 - The villas more than met our expectations and needs: simple, clean, comfortable, great shower, and screens on all windows (there were only four villas, we saw the inside of another one an they both looked equally lovely)
4 - Lovely hosts. Corresponding with them before the trip (email/phone) was very easy. We were greeted at the airport and driven to our accommodation (and back again).

Suggestions:
- Be sure to take a good supply of 30+ sunblock, aloe vera burn cream and mosquito repellent and coils (the mosquitoes are out in full force for a few hours at dusk).
- It was handy having a flashlight for our evening walks to local restaurants.
- When we do this trip again we will spend less time on Rarotonga (perhaps a day or two on the way in) in order to spend as much time as possible on Aitutaki.
- A snorkeling tour of the lagoon is a must - Te King's tour was a trip highlight

Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

In October 2010 I stayed at the Aitutaki Beach Villas with my family, occupying 3 of the 4 villas. I was lucky enough to be able to stay in villa closest to the beach. It was amazing waking up seeing the ocean from our villa, sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view.

I personally adore being in the water and in particular snorkeling. There is plenty of beautiful fish to be seen directly out the front of the villas. Using the provided snorkeling equipment I spent many hours enjoying the beautiful water out the front.

If you are like me and need to be connected to the internet, then just wander about 5 mins down the road to the Tamaru and you can purchase some wi-fi internet, unfortunately the signal doesn't reach the villas (yes we tried) but its 5 minutes if that down the road.

It was a beautiful stay and it wasn't long enough. With everything we needed in the self contained accommodation it made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
