“The most beautiful garden”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

We just happened to see the sign so popped in for coffee. While sitting there we were given two photo albums to look at while drinking. The history of the cafe and gardens is so inspiring. After finishing our coffee (unfortunately we had already eaten) we wandered around the garden. It was so magical. So many things we just don't see in Nelson NZ. As it's too cold. The staff was preparing for a wedding the next day so a pavilion was being set up with lights and draping all around it. What a special place to have a wedding. We will eat at the cafe next time we visit that's for sure

“Hidden gem”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

We were told this restaurant was a must and we were not disappointed either of the two times we went. We felt like royalty in our gazebo for two - quite magical, and the food was delicious. On the second visit I tried the "famous" cheesecake despite not being a great fan of cheesecakes and it was indeed delicious.

“What a beautiful location”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

We stopped in at the Hidden Spirit Café for morning tea. It is such a beautiful oasis. If you are an avid gardener, you will appreciate this garden. Even if you aren't once you see the before photos and experience the gardens, you will gain a real appreciation of this garden.

We had coffee and a juice and it was lovely especially having it in the gazebo that overlooked the garden.

“A hidden gem!”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Absolutely loved this place. My partner and I visited on the last day of our holiday and were not disappointed. We only wished we had tried it earlier. The food was fresh and a healthy alternative to a lot of other places on rarotonga. Such a beautiful setting and helpful staff. Definitely recommend the lemon meringue cheesecake and the paw paw was amazing. If only we could bring this place to Australia!
