“A beautiful B & B”

We stayed at this lovely property again this June. The flower gardens as well as the hanging baskets are beautiful. The owners have a very large greenhouse where they grow these plants during the winter and plant them in the gardens in early to mid June. The rooms in the house are fairly small, but comfortable. Bonnie's breakfasts are DELICIOUS and plentiful. The conversation around the table is most interesting. This is the second time we've stayed here and would again should we be in the area.

On our 31 day exploration of Canada and Alaska, we stayed primarily at bed and breakfast establishments. This was a first experience for my husband, a genuine introvert, and he wasn't 100% convinced about this much proximity to hosts and other guests. He warmed up to the experience as the days went by, but when we got to Garden B&B, he was sold! We would go back to Delta Junction again for more of the comfort of the cabin, breakfasts prepared to perfection, beauty of the grounds, and warmth of the hosts. He gives Bonnie and Richard the 1st place ribbon for places we stayed along the route--and I agree.

We loved our stay. The cabin was charming. Bonnie's gardens are not to be believed, breakfast was a close second. We've been in several similarly priced places in Alaska and this is the BEST. Conversation at breakfast was friendly and cheerful, gave us lots of local tips.

Room Tip: All the cabins are delightful

We stayed in the cabins, not in the house. We were traveling with another couple and we'd been rating all the B&B's we'd stayed in. We didn't think our previous B&B could be beat, but we were wrong. The Gardens was so lovely and the owners so warm and friendly that it moved right to the top. The breakfast was great with everything delicious and plentiful. The only negative was that the internet connection from the cabins was spotty. But when we mentioned it we were told that we were welcomed to come into the house or onto the screened porch since it was such wonderful weather. When we showed our photos of this B&B to our friends someone commented that it looked like a fairytale setting - and you know what? It was.

We stayed 1 night at the Garden B&B. The property is gorgeous - the name "garden" very appropriate. The cabins are brand new, well appointed and are akin to a complete household including a full kitchen in addition to a living area and bedroom.
Bonnie and her husband were such wonderful and gracious hosts; we felt like we were staying with family. Bonnie's breakfast was "to die for"; we could not finish half of the huge spread that she had prepared.
Must stay!

On our short roundtrip in Alaska last summer (2012) we were staying there for one night (july 9th 2012). Unfortunately the cabins were already booked, but there was this huge room in the main house that we could use (couple with 16-year old son). Everything from the booking to the gorgeous breakfast was perfect for us. The only thing: depending on the road you take, it might be a little bit difficult to find.

When I was initially looking for a hotel to stay near the Delta junction, I couldn't find many options and this was rated as the best place to stay and so I also went for it and needles to say - we all (spouse, kids and I) were extremely happy with the overall stay and experience. It was after a long time I stayed at a B & B and we were treated extremely nicely by Bonnie, Rich and their son.

When we initially took the tanana loop and drove in for 2-2.5 miles, we were all scratching our heads as to where we were going to end up for the night but we were taken in by a surprise by a pathway ending up near the B & B. The cabin was very comfortable for all (4 including 2 kids) of us. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything you could imagine. The beds were very comfortable and there were options for both heating and cooling on both floors. The ground (1st floor) had a big 50+ HD Plasma TV as well with 100-150+ channels along with couple of family games. Kids had a blast enjoying themselves.

The morning breakfast was served in plenty with various options. Both Rick and Bonnie ensured kids and us had a good breakfast and kept us engaged with lot of their experience staying there having moved from Kansas (I believe if my memory serves me right). They shared details on the beautiful garden they maintain, the vegetables they grow and conditions during winter time.

We stayed here for 1 night on June 8, 2013.and high recommend the stay to anyone passing up and wishing to stop by near Delta Junction

Thanks
Tushar, Komal and Kids
