“Excellent bakery and sandwich shop”
Reviewed 13 March 2014

Had a couple of lunches and a breakfast. Everything was fabulous. Very tasty and reasonably priced. The bottomless soup was filling and the sandwich was tasty. Definitely worth a meal or two.

“Hearty Lunch Stop”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

We ate lunch here as part of a tour of TurmAgain Arm and Mt. Alyeska. This is a small bakery with a menu and portion sizes well-suited for skiers and hikers. We felt a little guilty since a bit of walking and lots of riding had been our exercise for the day. Nevertheless, the goulash and homemade bread were delicious, and we each left with over half of the huge cinnamon roll for snacking later. The place smells great as the baking is ongoing in the open kitchen. There is local art on display to enjoy with your eyes while your taste buds and tummies are occupied. A great choice if you are not on a diet!

“WOW, what cinnamon rolls!”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Oh, talk about melt in your mouth and full of flavor, these morning made cinnamon rolls are the best ever! What a neat, tucked away, yet open and tasty bakey! We very much enjoy popping in here and having a oven fresh, hot cinnamon roll whenever we're in Girdwood!

“HUGE Cookies, Bars, & Rolls!”
Reviewed 23 December 2013

We stopped in to grab a treat on our drive, and ended up with a bag full of goodies for our stay in Seward. The cookies were the size of saucers and so were the cinnamon rolls! We had the rolls for breakfast (cut in half for 2 to share), and munched on the cookies through the rest of our hiking and driving travels. Very good!
