I wasn’t really expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the nice large room with mountain views. Although the room was a little dated, it was clean and the beds were good. Nice bathroom, has a separate little sink area out side the bathroom/toilet. The shower over the bathtub had good strong pressure, but hot water can run out if you don’t get in early. Plenty of free parking and I liked the little touches that the owners have supplied to make your stay a little more enjoyable - things like free coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby, games/books/puzzles on the sitting room area on the upper floor above the lobby.

There is no mini fridge in the room, but there are ice machines. The rooms are generally quiet, although the walls are rather thin. Luckily the neighboring guests were considerate and kept noises to a minimum. There are no laundry facilities in the motel, but we found a pubic laundry about a mile or two down the road, under the Miners Market gas station. It only cost $3 for a wash and same for a dryer. You can buy the tokens from the gas station above.

The biggest problem we found in this area was finding a decent place to have a meal. We tried several places at the Mile 138 service center, but food was overpriced and poor quality. Oh well, it is a tourist trap so you can expect that.

The location of the motel was fantastic for Denali Park - just a short drive of about 15 mins to the park entrance.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms in the main section are nice if you don't mind hauling your luggage up the stairs. No elevator.

Very nice, up to date, motel. Nice sized rooms and good complimentary breakfast. Nice staff and good box lunches to go. You do have to reserve a hair dryer at the desk. Quiet and secluded setting. Glad we were here instead of all the mess in "glitter gulch" in Denali.
Rose's Cafe is close for diner food..

Room Tip: Get a room in the first floor overlooking the woods in the building across from the building with the check-in desk.

A fantastic hotel very very clean . In an arera close to Denali with a great wooded arera. Rooms are very clean . The staff are very helpful and friendly. Veronica who works at the front desk is a very nice friendly person and helpful in telling you about the arera . I entend to stay there again next year.Five stars easy.

Stayed for two nights and it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple but wholesome and there was plenty to eat. Only word against is that we booked a kitchenette room and were disappointed to find that that all it had was a microwave and kitchen sink. Healy is a quiet town but it is still really close to the restaurants and shops near the park entrance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Denali National Park. We had four adults in our group to one room. Motel Nord Haven was the perfect place to stay! It is a quick drive to the park, and although slightly farther than the hotels immediately outside the entrance, it was nice to be away from the more touristy spots. Plus the price was half of that of those hotels. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are large and clean.

There was not a refrigerator in our room but we had a cooler. There is a shared area with puzzles, games, and magazines - perfect for a quiet evening after spending the day in the park.

49th State Brewery is right down the road from this hotel and it is a great place to eat dinner and get a few drinks. We went there twice!

Definitely recommend this hotel for a park visit!
