Very nice, clean house. Terry made us feel welcome right away, and made it a point to chat with us when we arrived, and also during breakfast the next day.

Breakfast was simple, but sufficient.

By "hidden", I mean it's nestled in the woods, not really visible from the road.
Follow the directions that Terry provides and you won't have a problem. Follow your GPS and you might...

Terry, couple of really minor things for the down stairs suite:
- Bedroom needs a small waste basket.
- Bathroom and bedroom each need a box of kleenex.

We had a great stay at Denali Primrose B&B. We booked the lower room, which had a sitting room, bathroom and bedroom. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The host, Terry, was terrific. She works nearby but pops back to the B&B often to make sure everything is going smoothly and that all your needs are being met. When she asked us where we were headed next (the 135 mile Denali Highway from Cantwell to Paxson) she checked online and found that it was closed due to a recent snow storm. Saved us many hours of frustration. Our revised drive included Fairbanks. Terry suggested things to see and provided us with a detailed map of Fairbanks. As it turned out our new "northern route" included the best museum of our trip (The Museum of the North) and our most scenic byway (the stretch of Richardson Hwy between Delta Junction and Paxon). We would definitely stay at this B&B again.

I highly recommend Denali Primrose. My husband and I stayed there for three nights in late August and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had the upstairs area to ourselves and could not believe how immaculately clean our area was kept. Our bathroom was spotless, and included a jacuzzi. And each day when we returned, we had fresh linens and newly-made beds.

Terry is a busy woman, but was always there for us, providing information about the area, recommendations for places to eat, even talking to my husband about the nearby golf course. And the location of her home is wonderful - quiet, in the midst of incredible scenery, yet close to the major highway and not far from Denali. Her continental breakfasts were very generous - pastries, cereals, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, juices, fruit, etc. We certainly felt well-fed while we were there.

We travelled through Alaska for over two weeks, and stayed in several very nice B & B's while there, but agreed that the Denali Primrose was by far our best experience. We will stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Alaska.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms were sunny and very comfortable.

The Denali Primrose B&B is delightful. We stayed on Sep 3rd and 4th 2012 in the room downstairs. The bed was very comfortable and we had our own little living room area and bathroom. Everything was very clean and tidy.
Breakfast was an expansive continental breakfast. Included cereals, breads, muffins, fresh fruit, biscotti's, tea/coffee/juice, plenty for a day of hiking.
Terry was very friendly and sweet and sat down for breakfast with us. She was also happy to make some recommendations on local restaurants, which turned out to be great (The Black Diamond is a great lunch place, and the 49th State Brewing Company is amazing for beer and food).
From where we ate our breakfast, the sunrise in the morning was beautiful.
The location is great, nice and quite but with easy access to Healy and Denali.

I was very pleased with my 2-night stay at the Denali Primrose. We stayed in the downstairs room which has a small sitting room and private bath just off the bedroom. The space is comfortable, clean and quiet. I found the continental breakfast to be more than adequate to get us going in the morning. Terry put out quite a lovely breakfast spread of fruit, cereal, pastries, toast, hardboiled eggs, coffee, etcetera.

I took a look at the 3-bedroom suite and can see that this space would work well for families or small groups who do not mind sharing a bathroom. The yard surrounding the house is beautiful and we used the outside deck to do a little reading. Terry gave great directions to her place and was very helpful in making restaurant recommendations and provided tips on our visit to Denali.

Terry is a warm and welcoming host. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Of the four places I stayed on my July trip to Alaska, I liked the Denali Primrose best. I spent two exciting but very long days at Denali National Park. In the evening, I needed a quiet place to sleep. I found it at the Primrose.

This B&B has two suites available: a larger family-sized space upstairs and a downstairs room for singles and couples. The downstairs was comfortable, with chairs in a sitting room and an interior bedroom. I wondered if there might be noise from upstairs, but the kitchen was situated between our rooms and I never heard the other guests.

Being downstairs proved advantageous, as the bedroom was a little darker than the house and aided in dimming the light for sleep. Great for a location where the sun sets at midnight!

I lucked out in finding this place. Another B&B that was undergoing repairs recommended it. The Primrose turned out to be considerably closer to the park than lodgings on Stampede Road, and the rate was the most reasonable in the area. I recommend the downstairs suite for singles and couples.

This B&B is a very good choice to explore the Denali area. It is just a 15 minutes drive to the park entrance. With Terrys description it was easy to find, a wonderful home in a quiet neighbourhood. We stayed for four nights in the downstairs suite, everything clean and comfortable. Terry is a very nice and helpful host. There was everything we needed for breakfast, fruit, cereals, bread, muffins...As always in a B&B we liked the conversation with the host and other guests.
