We had a very enjoyable stay in at Ridgetop Cabins. it was a bit of a drive getting there up a mile long dirt road, but it was nice being away from all the activity in Denali. Our host was wonderful, friendly and helpful. we did have to fight a lot of mosquitos, but luckily they never were in the cabin. the cabins were clean and comfortable. if you don't need to be in the center of things this is a very good place to stay. Peaceful and quiet.

We stayed at the LAST possible minute at this lovely location! When we discovered that our reservations in Denali were at a location that was much different than expected, we called Ridgetop and were relieved to find that they had a cabin for the first needed night. Before we even got to Ridgetop, Joyce had located two options for our needed next night. Besides that, she gave us great recommendations for Denali touring (take the shuttle not the tour buses).
The cabin was modest but absolutely perfect for what we wanted!

Very comfortable and quite cabins. We stayed for 2 nights in a cabin with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed., microwave, min fridge. Jpyce is a great host and helping too.Although the 1 mile gravel driveway was little rough but it is not dangerous and as it is well maintained.
It was nice to see homemade banana bread made by joyce in the mroning at 8AM for breakfast. Will stay there again.

Very comfortable cabins and good breakfast. Our hosts were very helpful for our trip to Denali N.P. Accessed by a one-mile gravel road that is in very good condition. Upon driving to dinner one night the road was blocked by a moose and four calves (see photo). Nobody could explain why there were four caves -- everyone said they have one or sometimes two offspring. This photo was taken just below Ridgeway's welcome arch.

We stayed at the Ridgetop cabins during our visit to the Denali National Park. The cabins are within 20-25 minutes of the park, constructions delays notwithstanding. The entire property is located on some very nice acreage and there are a total of 6 cabins. We rented two of them. The cabins are clean, the beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh. The owner has put darkening shades in the rooms which really help you get a good nights sleep especially when there's day light out most of the time. Our only dissatisfaction with the owner was an incident during breakfast where we needed to leave for Denali early in the morning and needed to take breakfast along with us as opposed to eat there. Apparently it looked to her as if we were packing our breakfast *and* our lunch when we were simply taking one item per person for a group of 6. Her comment was "I provide only breakfast" which we thought was very rude.

Our first visit to Alaska and wanted to stay near the park. We were fortunate to find this lodging via tripadvisor.
This is just outside the park and craziness of Glitter Gulch. There is a long, gravel road up to the cabins that obviously is well maintained and quite drivable. One reviewer described it as if it were dangerous. This is absolute nonsense- the road is fine! The cabin we had (1) had a queen, a twin, a small table w/ chairs, refrig, microwave and coffee pot. The bed was very comfortable and it was utterly peaceful that we slept like babies with the windows open.
I give this the highest rating. I am not comparing it to a 5 star hotel, I am rating this a clean, comfortable, quiet and having an ideal location.
This place also offers a breakfast-we did not eat here, but observed coffee, juice, fresh fruit and packaged baked goods. All looked carefully displayed and appealing
in the owner's home.
We hope to visit again!

Ridgetop cabins were clean, secluded, comfortable. The owners were nice and very informative. We were also very lucky to have the cow moose with her calves right outside our window for our enjoyment!!!! I would not hesitate to visit them again.
