White Moose Lodge is a good motel for the price you pay since all motels are expensive in Alaska during the peak season. We went there at the end of August and paid $115 for three people but my friends paid $105 for four people. It is a small basic motel but clean. Elsewhere outside of Alaska you would expect to pay $40 for such motels. The heating element was located near the floor and the dial was sensitive. If not selected correctly the room would get soo hot so we turned it off before leaving the room. We only stayed for two nights at this motel. The view outside is rustic and I find it very pleasing. I loved the rustic nature of this motel. I have included some photos along with the review. The floorboards outside the rooms creak as you walk so some people may get disturbed when people walk outside.
