“GREAT Experience(and response to complaints)”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

My wife and I had a completely delightful experience with Terry and Ann. They picked us up at the train station and drove us back for our return trip(free of charge). They bought our train tickets for us so we could get a discount. The place was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating(they had cookies, tea, coffee, and other items available downstairs). The conversation was very warm from the moment that we met.

To answer some of the criticism that I read in here:
1- If someone is cooking for 15-20 people, maybe it's a good idea to stay out of the kitchen! Leave the guy alone while he works himself silly providing food for so many people.
2- Some of you think the cookies were too hard and the eggs weren't done perfectly. Really? Not your style? Next time show up with your soft-batch Pillsbury dough for him to bake, or even better buy your own cookies and bring them with you. Terry was willing to do ANYTHING for us at breakfast.
3- Complaints about not having cable tv in your rooms while on an incredible vacation in Alaska is unreal. I'm embarrassed for anyone complaining that they weren't able to watch Honey Boo-Boo on their trip. We went to Alaska to get away from that junk!
4- Some of you didn't get enough attention from Terry or Ann? They talked as little or as much as anyone wanted. Some people must have had flashbacks of being ignored in high school.

Overall it was an incredible experience and we will be back! We spent another week in Alaska after staying here and we badly missed Denali Dome!
Terry and Ann, thanks again for showing us a great time!

Sincerely,

Brad and Amanda Taylor

We only spent one night here after touring Denali NP & on our way to Fairbanks. We had room #3 on the main level. It was impeccably clean & very comfortable. Terry gave us a couple of recomendations for dinner which we took advantage of. His breakfast was hearty & plentiful. We enjoyed meeting other guests from other parts of the world. Ann sent us off in the morning with a baggie of her famous brownies to go, along with her motherly advice about the areas we were traveling on to. It was chilly & raining the day we were here, so we didn't spend any time out doors, but what we did see of the grounds looked very nice. Our only (very minor) complaint is no satelite or cable to the TV's in the rooms. We prefer to keep up with the real world that way rather than watch DVDs. But the house is incredibly clean & the Millers are top notch hosts & we would highly recomend The Denali Dome House.

We stayed 3 nights at this B&B in a downstairs room with outside entrance. We have stayed at several B&Bs, and I would judge this one as above average. Room was INCREDIBLY clean. Downstairs room was a little chilly, if you plan to stay in winter, you may want to choose an upstairs room. Breakfast had hot offerings, as well as continental offerings. Terry and Ann are good hosts, and you stay will be fine as long as you take off your shoes and refrain from interfering with breakfast. This was not an issue for me, but my husband found these issues a little off-putting at times. I really missed having a TV with satellite in my room (not even any limited reception available for network channels in room), although satellite TV is available in the living room. In comparison to the hotels in the area, this is a great value, and it is probably a lot cleaner. As I said, the room was exceptionally clean.

The Bed and Breakfast has a lovely setting and great common rooms. Very good breakfast.

Ann and Terry couldn't have been more helpful.

The room, which we were told was large enough for 3 people, was not.

Room Tip: Get one of the rooms upstairs. The bottom room was too crowded for 3 people.

As you can see from the other reviews Denali Dome Home is just a delight. There is nothing to complain about and so much to praise. Ann and Terry are the perfect hosts and their B&B meets and surpasses all expectations one might have of a first rate B&B. We were met at the train station by both Ann and Terry in 2 vehicles, as there were 4 of us and luggage to be transported. From the moment we set foot in the Dome we were treated like old friends. There was always tea and coffee available with tasty cookies or brownies and Terry's breakfast (especially his pancakes) are seriously praise-worthy. But for myself it was Ann's warm attentions that really won me over. She made sure we had transportation and even drove us to a restaurant our first night in Denali and made arrangements for someone to drive us back! And when I wasn't feeling well on our last day she even gave me a bowl of her delicious soup. I am happy to have found such a perfect vacation stay but happier still to have found such a lovely new friend. Stay here!!

My husband and I spent two nights, this past August at Ann and Terry's B&B. We loved the place. The setting is very beautiful. We stayed in room#1, very private. It has a brand new bathroom with heated floor. Their home is a very unique place, exceptionally clean. Both Ann and Terry cooked breakfast for us, great food and very generous amounts. They are very kind, friendly, even helped us book a trip in Denali Park and gave us lots of great advise about traveling in the park. Ann let us borrow a cooler with ice packs to keep our food fresh while in the park. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this B&B to anyone

A very comfortable place to stay. Terry was very helpful and makes great pancakes! We stayed in room 4 which is just inside the front door and downstairs so it's a little more private, it also has a small sauna which is great after a cold day out river rafting in September. The living area is very comfortable with lots of snacks and drinks available. Also, tons of books and DVD's just in case the weather keeps you inside. It's a short drive into the park @ 10 minutes, Terry let us borrow a backpack and bino's for our trip into the park. Overall the best place we stayed on our two week trip.

Room Tip: Room 4 is just inside the front door and downstairs so it offers a little more privacy. It also has...
