My hubby and I swung by for some coffee and pastries a few days ago while visiting Homer. While this place isn't any upscale, modern cafe, it is certainly plain to see how popular it is with the residents of Homer! A welcoming, cozy, shabby chic cafe that crafts outstanding beverages and house-made food as well, it is definitely worth stopping by. There is also lots of local artwork and other unique, not-your-run-of-the-mill products available to purchase, or just to look at while you're there.

We had a mocha, tea, quiche, salmon chowder, and finished with a lemon fruit tart. The staff is very wam and engaging. With the waiting line long and the restaurant packed the staff remained calm and friendly. The customers all looked happy. Where else can you be served such a variety tasty meals, divine deserts, and then take home such a variety of breads and treats for later, too! I came back the next morning for biscuit and sausage gravy for breakfast.

This is not a 5 star hotel. Kinda "shabby chic" BUT IN A GOOD WAY! Has a sofa and rocking chair to look out at the ocean! Can be kinda noisy during working hours BUT NOT A PROBLEM. Absolutely QUIET at night. Awesome location! Just go downstairs in the morning and tell them you are staying upstairs and you can have anything on the menu and all the coffee, juice, etc you want. Lots of locals come here for the food. That has to tell you something! Once day we ate ALL of our meals here. We are two seniors and WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!! WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED MORE THAN 2 DAYS!!

This is a great place.....The espresso and pastries (I had an awesome cinnamon roll and my husband had some kind of berry Danish) were yummy!!! They had many other food optins on the menu that also looked tasty. Recommend a stop if you're in the area!!

We visited this bakery twice and each time we couldn't get enough of its baked good. Their soup is especially good and made from fresh ingredients. I tried two soup, cream mushroom with fennel and sausage, and seafood cream chowder. Both were absolutely wonderful and the best I ever had anywhere else.

The baked goodies such as chocolate bread, their speciality would sell out in a short period. Sandwiches are well made and have surprising ingredients that other bakeries don't have. I don't drink coffee, but my husband loved their "sludge". The staff was very friendly.

We (our friends and us) all felt sad when we left Homer because we couldn't go to Two Sisters Bakery anymore.
