While touring Juneau, I was fortunate to have been able to visit Green Angel Gardens. This was a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing walk through a natural garden which emphasized native Alaskan plants. The owners had set it up so that there were meadow plants, water plants, and woodlands. Up to this walk, I felt like I had been herded around on my tour. I would have loved to have been able to enjoy this lovely exhibit longer, but I had to get herded on to the next attraction! At least I had about an hour to just leisurely walk and enjoy the beauty of Alaska's flora.
