Most of the clothing and accessories for sale here are not made in Alaska, but the store is owned by an Alaskan family. The owner contracts with artisans in other countries to create unique designs. I was especially taken by the silks--scarves, wallets, small purses. They even combine painted silk and fleece, which sounds bizarre, but actually works for both the vest and hat that I saw. In a sea of tacky souvenir stores, this sweet little shop floats to the top. Don't miss it!
