Cool to see. There's not a ton going on in the town, so you should definitely walk through and see it while you're there.

We visited Ketchikan off our cruise ship and walked the streets prior to doing an excursion. The salmon were running in the creek so that was pretty neat to see. Lots of little shops (of course) and great deals on jackets everywhere. Definitely plan some time to spend strolling around.

We visited this attraction on July 24th, 2014 while on the Coral Princess. Our favorite part of visiting Creek Street was watching the young kids catch salmon. We were able to view from a bridge as well as the trail and overlook. Creek Street has many stores to attract tourists and also places to eat. It is a colorful area. We opted to eat at the Pioneer Cafe near Creek Street. The food was good and pretty reasonable for Ketchikan.

Creek Street itself and Ketchikan is lackluster but to walk the Ketchikan creek up creek street and beyond is amazing. The number of salmon running upstream is incredible site to witness.

Can you say tourist attraction? Creek street was a fun little adventure. Some nice shops with unique offerings as well as the typical tourist shops. The walking bridges over the creek offer some beautiful views. Sam McGee's had a nice selection of items at reasonable prices. Staff was VERY helpful.
