Lots of little stores & galleries. Cute area to walk around and shop local. Just turn things over and make sure it is made locally. Can get crowded with cruise visitors. Tour an old "Hotel" and get the local history.

This street of Ketchikan has the best shops, as there are interesting stores with interesting wares. The shops you encounter when you get off the ship are terrible tourist traps and diamond stores with pushy salespeople. Avoid those and walk a few blocks to Creek Street. Do not miss the Rain Barrel store closer to the dock, as it is the best store in town.

Great place to visit - awesome history! Great narrative, visit Dolly's Place as there is a lot of history there as well

If you have some extra time while in Ketchikan Creek Street is definitely worth walking around. It's a very cute area with little shops you can go into and it's all on a boardwalk. Creek street also meets up with a trail that you can take too, I believe it was called Married Man's trail.

Do not miss visiting Creek Street on your visit to Ketchikan. It is an elevated boardwalk over a creek that was once the red light district. It is very scenic. It is now houses shops, crafts, eateries and more and still has Dolly's House, a former bordello which is open for tours at a cost.
