Stopped in for some Alaska style fish and chips after seeing the restaurant from a tour bus. Place wasn't very busy, perhas 35 percent full and there was at least 4 wait staff milling around and behind the bar. The 2 of us sat at a table for 6 and overheard one woman telling another that we should be moved in case a party of 6 came in. Realizing that there really weren't a lot of large tables around, we moved to a table for 2 without beong asked and poceeded to wait for some sort of acknowledgement or service..at the very least some menus.
5 minutes later decided they weren't all that interested in serving us so we walked out. No one said a word to us the whole time, I can only surmise they must of made enough money for the season and couldn't care less.
Ended up at the Alaska Fish House, had an excellent meal and encountered staff that was happy to have our business.
