“End of the road - great hiking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2013

What a unbelievable short hike to the falls. Trails lead to Lunch Falls and through the rainforest or along the shoreline. All in all a really beautiful place.

Looks like they have decent campsites as well - I was staing in an Inn.

“Easy trail with beautiful scenery”

We hiked the loop at Settlers Cove and were impressed that it is very well-maintained. Saw waterfalls and gorgeous scenery. A little ways out of town but definitely worth the drive!

“Beautiful Hiking and Scenery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2013

We hiked the loop trail at Settlers Cove and enjoyed seeing the beautiful waterfall and rainforest scenery. We also spent some time on the beach, checking out tide pools, which was very interesting. It's a beautiful place and is kept very, very clean by the caretakers, who were a friendly, helpful couple from Florida. We spent a long time chatting with them and they shared lots of interesting information about Ketchikan.
Hiking here was easy, with well-built boardwalk steps that weren't too steep. We loved seeing all the plants and wildlife.
