We are in our 70s and had never been in a kayak! Rain gear was provided, but we had blue skies and sunshine. Our guide, Brendan, was very patient as he taught us the skills we needed before we paddled along the shoreline of Ketchikan and across the main channel to an island in Tongass Narrows. Brendan shared interesting info. and facts about the wildlife and the history of the area as we saw breathtaking scenery. Terrific experience! By DG
