I just spent the best weekend at the Inn at Tern Lake. My quilting friends and I spend four weekends a year at the Inn. The breakfasts that Rose prepares are are amazing, the rooms are very clean, and the area where we quilt is so perfect, that it is hard to think of going anywhere else to quilt. Jeff and Rose are the most marvelous hosts. I can't wait until September to go back for another weekend.

What a fabulous place to have a family gathering! Lots of space for all with gorgeous, comfortable rooms, each with it's own bath and views to die for of the mountains that are practically reaching to the balcony. The common areas are great for large gatherings (we were 13) and there is also space for smaller groups to collect. The grounds and outdoor activities were perfect for skiing and sledding and of course, the hot tub in winter snow can't be beat! Rose makes a fabulous breakfast and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare additional meals. Rose & Jeff have lots of suggestions and local knowledge for places to go and visit and tour. Wonderful hosts!

Room Tip: All rooms are upstairs, all have gorgeous views, one even a fireplace!

I know I could not have found a more beautiful location for my daughters wedding reception than the Inn. Rose & Jeff made our entire experience one to remember. Everything was perfect, the location, the scenery, their attention to detail, Rose's cooking!! (still dreaming about her creme brulee french toast). They even arranged for us to have sunshine!!! The background for the wedding photos is awesome!! Our rooms were very comfortable, and the views from the balconies were breath taking. The meal for the reception was perfect, Rose and her staff served an excellent meal and even handled the "unexpected" with grace and ease. I would highly recommend the Inn if you're planning a wedding or just need a place for a wonderful weekend get-a way! I can't wait for my return trip to Alaska so I can spend another weekend at the Inn.

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights two weeks ago and loved it. Beautiful place. Jeff and Rose were wonderful. We loved the awesome view from our balcony and how peaceful it was. The only suggestions I have is to have the hottub open for guests. we had no idea how to take off the top or put it back on. We would of loved to have used it in the early evening. I also would of liked breakfast served around 8:00 not 8:30. While we were there two couples were ready to walk out the door for their excursion when Rose announced breakfast was ready at 8:20. The men were already out in their car and decided to come in to eat. Most of us when traveling get up early to be on our way for a full day of fun. I got the impression Rose does not like to get up early. We would definitely return to Inn at Tern Lake. Jeff made us feel like family. We wish we would of had more time to visit with him and Rose.

My husband and I took some friends on their first visit to Alaska. Inn at Tern Lake was one of our stops. Beautiful place, surrounded by mountains. Rose and Jeff were awesome. Rose made blueberry muffins one morning and scones another-best I have ever tasted. Highly recommended for anyone who will be visiting the Seward area. Sanders from Tennessee

Paul & Rose have created a true oasis here. Unfortunately we were unable to stay as long as planned and would have loved to have been here on a sunny day as the gardens, lake and mountains surrounding the Inn are just beautiful. Guest accommodation is separated from the host accommodation and in addtion to guest rooms, you have the use of a full kitchen, sitting room and dining area. The accommodation was luxurious and spacious and you are left wanting nothing more. On recommendation from our hosts, we drove a few miles down the road to the Kinfisher Roadhouse for dinner and what a delight it was even though it doesn't look much from the outside. Cannot understand previous comments regarding breakfasts as Rose served us up the most astounding freshly made apple pancake with bacon on the side. Juice selections in the fridge and freshly brewed coffee just topped it off perfectly. Later in our trip, we tried to come back and stay again (we loved it so much) but unfortunately they were fully booked. Would certainly recommend a stay here and if you have the time, stay a while just to enjoy this fantastic spot.

Room Tip: Room 1 is very spacious and has fabulous views of the mountain behind the Inn

We spent two nights with Rose and Jeff in 8/12. Their Inn and hospitality are both wonderful! The setting of the Inn is beyond compare! Surrounded by mountains is an understatement! We watched Salmon spawning in the 100's in their pond, adjacent to Tern Lake. The grounds are spacious and beautiful! The breakfasts are delicious and substantial (Rose, thanks for the recipe!)! The rooms are lovely, warm, spacious and modern! Some rooms could accommodate a family of 3 or 4. One of the very best B&Bs (among many in US, Canada and Europe) we have visited! You won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: This is a great central location for Seward and the rest of the Kenai Penninsula. Tell Jeff and Ros...
