the cheese polenta was absolutely deliscious, with a firm crunch and a creamy center, the vegetable were cooked perfectly not too soft not too crunchy. Everything was seasoned to perfection.

“Delicious salads and soups”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

We've been to Turkey Red several times in recent months and have always been pleased with the warm, personal service and ambience, whether for lunch or dinner. This time a friend and I came for an early lunch, were seated quickly and both being in the mood for salads, ordered their orange sesame chicken salad, which comes with carrots, red peppers, zucchini, cabbage, marinated onions, and mixed greens with a light orange sesame vinaigrette. My friend ordered a cup of beef vegetable soup on the side, and I their tomato basil soup. Good coffee was brought quickly after we placed our orders and the soups and salads followed closely thereafter. Yes, it pays to come a little early for lunch. The portions were generous, so we opted to refrain from the tempting dessert specials. A plus is that the soups and salads will always be at the proper temperature; the soups warm enough but not too hot, and the salads at a pleasantly cool temperature, which enhances the flavor of the vegetables, and prices are very reasonable. Check their online menu at www.turkeyredak.com. As much as possible, Turkey Red sources local growers and all their breads and pastries are made there.

“Patience rewarded”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

Pepperoni and feta pizza-very good, price....not so much-$18 for what is a medium to small pizza. Yogurt cheesecake-to small, and very expensive-$7. It is clean, new, and was busy @ 6:45pm. We were told we would have to wait 3o minutes for a table, it was only 15. Service is a bit slow, keeping in mind it was peak dinner time. Overall a good place, good food, friendly service, but on the high side for pricing.

I had a wonderful dinner I'd Gyrokpita (spiced meat wrapped in whole wheat phyllo) with housemade tzatziki and a wonderful Mediterranean salad. Delicious and reasonably priced.
