The Reindeer farm is amazing so amazing that after visiting several times and moving to Alaska I now volunteer there and get to help with the Reindeer Mosse Elk and all the other animals all the time. when coming to Alaska this is a DON"T MISS . Where else will you get to feed and play with Reindeer and learn something too. Bring a lunch we have picnic tables.......Here is the correct address:

“Best attraction near Anchorage, AK”
Reviewed 29 October 2009

Our visit to Williams Reindeer Farm was one of the highlights of our visit to Palmer, AK. As we waited for them to open first thing in the morning, there were 2 moose and a bison to watch near the entrance. Then we got a wonderful informative introduction all about reindeer.

After receiving a container of reindeer food, we were able to walk into the pasture with about 50 mothers and calves. My husband saved some of the food and put the cup into his pocket, and one of the reindeer stuck his nose into the pocket looking for it. That's one of the greatest photos from our trip to Alaska.

Then we were able to walk along the fence and feed some Rocky Mt. Elk. "Awesome Eddie" would eat grass pulled from the fence row right out of your hand! He and his harem would follow us along the fence.

We highly recommend this attraction near Palmer, AK, which is about 45 minutes from Anchorage.

“Lots of laughs, you'll not want to leave”
Reviewed 20 March 2008

If you are heading to Palmer, check out the Reindeer Farm. We took our grandparents, parents and great-aunt&uncle there. They had a blast. Feeding the reindeer was a hoot and everyone was laughing so hard. They reindeer are friendly and eating out of your is really neat. It can be a little dirty/messy for bring a towel or wet wipes to wash your hands. During the summer it is open rain or shine. The kids will love this place.

“Brought a smile to our faces!”
Reviewed 29 November 2007

We visited the farm in June 2007 while staying in Palmer and had a wonderful time. Our main reason for attending was to ensure that we saw caribou while in Alaska, even if they were in captivity. The presentation at the beginning was very interesting and worthwhile. We not only were able to feed the many reindeer, but we also fed the resident Moose a banana (Moose saliva is gross all over your hands, but what a thrill).

Other animals at the park included elk, bison, and deer.

I would highly recommend this experience. The animals are great and the location is beautiful. Once you are done with the presentation and have received your instructions you are free to wander at your own pace for as long as you want. Children would love it.......

“Good time with Family”
Reviewed 4 June 2006

We were going to go to the Musk Ox farm but when we found out we couldn't pet them we went straight to the Reindeer Farm and didn't regret it. They give you food and a short story about them and then your off to feed the starving reindeer(haha). j/k, they are well feed especially by us tourist. very calm animals, i felt safe to let my son feed them. also the moose and elk as well. You won't spend hours there but you the short time you are there, you will enjoy. there was also kim's horseback riding there as well (we didn't do on)
