Villa Vayana is the perfect Villa for someone looking to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Canggu, but want to be able to access it easily. Located in a quieter area surrounded by rice paddy fields, it's an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, and there is a great cafe (Ki-no-oa) and nail place just down the road.
The villa is as per the pictures, with gorgeous grassed areas, super comfy furniture (excellent beds), a great pool and an amazing team of staff that you can utilise as much or as little as you wish.
We went with our 6 month old daughter and had the best family holiday, we will definitely stay there again.

Villa Vayana is the gift that keeps on giving.
Located in the city of the Kings, Villa Vayana is located on the banks of the Kings River, next to a holy temple in a quiet culdesac in the pretty seaside town of Pererenan, now for its Balinese sophistication. Legian has it that the King of Bali once used this as his route to the sea and here lays the fact that the town has its own wealth and high security.
Being at Villa Vayana is a safe bet,
The people are friendly but aloof they don't crave your money.
Villa Vayana is a wonderful place to stay, with its beautiful gardens and fabulous rooms you will be enchanted walking over the huge teak floor boards in the Villa.
The pool is to die for, who wants to even leave the villa, as you can relax anywhere you like. By the pool in the living rooms or your massive bedroom.
All this while the beautiful and friendly staff attend to all your every need, from cooking you in house meals, fetching great wine or beer, getting your laundry done, taking you shopping, getting a car or scooter. Arranging tours or transport to any place on the island.
From Villa Vayana its just a two-minute scooter ride to the surf and food.
Or a lazy 10-minute walk.
The Villa is in a high section of the river banks and receives every drop of breeze that floats around the island. That gives you super relief from any hot days.
The Villa has a great sound system with full sound inside and out, and no real neighbours to get upset if you play your favourite Bathhoven recital up loud.
Tamii the gorgeous Villa manager will set you at ease the moment you meet her, nothing too much trouble.
Wyan is the boss lady from Tanalot she runs the staff and orders and cooks you any dish you want. She's a master chef with Indonesian and Balinese recipes.
Wyan her husband has a car service for picking you up at the airport or what ever you want. They are both like family and speak good English.
The rest of the staff, 4 security, 1 gardener and two house men, are at your service.
The worst thing about Villa Vayana is leaving the place.
All my kids and friends, including Casey, Wyatt and Jay, and the grand kids feel the same way about Villa Vayana.

Villa vayana was a perfect place to relax. Very quiet and the staff are incredible helpful. If wanting to eat out only a short scooter ride to amazing restaurants. Also only 5 minutes from Canggu surf beach, literally just down the road. Best place to stay in Canggu for sure.

Excellent Villa only 1 minute scooter from the surf beach of Canggu located in the rice fields near horse riding school. Private and friendly neighbourhood. Great restaurants close by. Friendly and capable staff happy to help in any needs during our stay. Keeping the beer fridge stocked. Cooking wonderful Indonesian meals. Breaky every morning. Keeping the rooms made each day. The pool and gardens neat and tidy. Had a very special time here with family. Be back soon

Excellent villa, this is our second time here and we will be back again, Wayan the maid was excellent as were the rest of the staff.

We came for a wedding just north of Seminyak and researched every private villa in the vicinity. Most were overly cramp and not that appealing. Of course there are nice ones out there, but this villa peaked our interest. We brought our young 2 children and my parents, and everyone loved it. Lots of space, well maintained landscape. The V-shape layout facing the pool brings natural light and air to each room. Entire villa is very well designed and tastefully furnished. The owner(s) have a subtle aesthetic eye, fitting for the Bali lifestyle. Pool could use a bit of upkeep, but we may have visited right before the maintenance period, and we all enjoyed a prolonged dip nevertheless. Staff was incredibly friendly. Large breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices. Also ordered in individual massages, which we weren't expecting. All in all it was a great Bali experience. Canggu is beautiful also.
