What a gem, tucked away in Canggu. Great food and and great atmosphere, bring your bathers and have a swim in the pool while relaxing around with friends and eating and drinking your afternoon away. Perfect spot.

Bali Equestrian Centre is quite simply superb. From the amazingly talented horses, world class instructors and facilities to rival any 5 star hotel it really is a must see in Bali if you are interested in any horses or even if you have never ridden before its a great way to experience Bali ...on horseback either through a rice field and Balinese village tour or on the gorgeous beach very close by. I was surprised to read a review describing the gardens as a desert and wondered if the reviewer had actually visited a different facility. The Equestrian Centre is beautifully landscaped, the gardens are lush and tropical, by the restaurant there is a gorgeous swimming pool for great for kids and non riders to spend time and enjoy a cocktail or two, we frequently spend the whole day there. The kids playground is wonderful and after the riding has ended children can often be found having their own showjumping competitions and cantering around the arena.....on two legs rather than four! I am lucky enough to live in Bali and LOVE this place. Cannot recommend it highly enough

We were staying in Seminyak (Semara next to PH) and the kids wanted to go horse riding. Since they are only 6 and 4 this wasn't an option. Then we found the Bali Equestrian Centre - WOW - this place is completely set up for little ones. They had a fifteen minute pony ride with helmets supplied by the centre. Then we got to have a lovely brunch by the pool with swimming, sun lounges and best of all a playground on grass with a slide, swings, cubby house and where my two spent at least an hour in a completely shaded sandpit with all the accessories. Parents got some me time by the pool, just bliss. The in-house restaurant is beautiful and the food of a high standard and not too expensive. The pool was a standout feature with a full length (approx 15m) shallow area with inbuilt umbrellas, the main pool was very refreshing. We came out about four hours later, happy kids, relaxed parents and two pony t-shirts. We will definitely go back again. Note: It is closed for private functions on Melbourne Cup Day. Another note: Seminyak taxi drivers seem to have no clue where this place is. It is only 10-15 min. drive from Potato Head via Jalan Batu Belig, past the Canggu Club. Best to look up the map on the BEC website and take the phone number with you so the taxi driver can call them if he gets lost. Easy enough to get them to call you a taxi to get back. Go during the week to avoid the weekend lesson crowds.
