“I anticipated better but was disappointed”

Our room was dilapidated to say the least. To start with the main door would not open fully as it jammed three-quarters open as did the bathroom door. The room itself was adequately spacious with opening French windows on to a shared balcony. The close HV power lines seemed almost in reach though.
The advertising said that air conditioning was installed, but no and neither was the free wifi. The latter only seemed available from the entrance foyer and the lower floor where the restaurant is.
Not only was a/c  not available but also no complimentary bottled water. There was not a safe either. Another problem was that our room was located on the 4 th floor and this building did not have a lift.
Our bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower attachment but no shower curtain so there was spillage and the chance of slipping getting out of the bath. Oh! What water went into the bath escaped through the leaking plug hole. The bathroom relied on natural ventilation through a louvre which opened out to the corridor. Lastly this bathroom had a broken light fitting.
Going by the hotel's web site I was certainly expecting better but this wasn't to be. Until this hotel undergoes a through refit I would strongly advise against using it.

we got lost at Railway station and finally saw the guide nearby, they made a call to looking for us right there. First look, it was nice hotel, we were welcomed by fresh fruits and some drinks. staffs ask for some trips but we both booked via travel agency in Hanoi, a room at 3rd floor got a nice view out the mountain nearby, spot & clean room was a highlight here, of course a cable TV was a bonus, free wifi always offered.

Room Tip: a quiet room at high floor

we booked this hotel via agoda.com with acceptable price, could be recommended it via Agoda but you should forget if for price because staffs always gave anything you need, no need taxes but inluded breakfast, they even hanged out with us for restaurant and showed us some nice place to go as well, ALso, Bacha market was a traditional place for discovering ethnic minorities, we bought some clothes from there.

This is a very average place ( well below in comparaison of elsewhere in Vietnam), with very inflated prices ( like every where in Sapa).
We were infortunate to be there on a national day which made Sapa even worse than it already is.
The hotel has good rooms though slightly noisy. But the main problem we had is that we had no water at all during our 30 hours stay ( meaning no shower, sink and toilet). After complaining about it 3 time ( they say it is normal because of the lack of rain), we plainly said we won't pay the full price ( 50$ a night), the manager couldn't think of anything else but shout at us and say she can't do anything about it if the government doesn't provide water ( the fact was that the hotel boiler broke down, And it had nothing To do with water shortage).
In the end, we left paying 40$ and receiving a weak apology from the manager and stayed in a homestay which was better and half the price.

Stayed there for 2 nights and found the hotel was great. Fantastic waiting room with showers, Internet, a bar and great leather lounge suites! We arrived here to wash away the mud after trekking in the hills above Sapa for several days...!! This hotel was very comfortable, staff friendly and efficient, food delicious and the room like heaven after our village homestays! Loved the shoe cleaning machine at the front door! The views from our balcony down the valley were absolutely stunning. Get up early for the clearest views before the mist comes in

We stayed here as part of a "Deluxe" package deal we got in Hanoi, unfortunately for us it was anywhere but "Deluxe!". We arrived after a reasonable sleep on the train and was taken on a minibus to Sapa Global Hotel. From the road there was 3 flights of stairs up to the top road where the hotel was located thankfully one of the kind gentleman from reception helped my girlfriend with her bag to the top of the steps so we could check in. The hotel itself was run down, tired paint and old furniture in reception. Our room had a bath but we did not use it; only for a shower, as it was very dirty and had not been cleaned. Whenever we had a shower the bathroom would flood as the silicone around the bath was non-existent and there was no shower rail / cover to stop water from going all over the floor. The rooms to be fair was adequate and I had an excellent sleep in their beds although I'm not sure if that's from getting up at 5am from the train and the 12KM walk we did in the afternoon!
The main thing that let use down was the food, it wasn't great and had the room had a look of a school cafeteria. Music was played from the bar mans phone which was on a constant loop of a Take-That track whilst he casually sat at the bar smoking cigarettes... After that we ate out at many nice restaurants in the area.
We did two tours through the hotel which was included in our tour package, which was very good our young tour girl "Le Le" spoke excellent English and was a great guide.
On our last day we had done a home-stay at a village in Sapa and walked 12KM back to the hotel obviously we wanted a shower before we got the train ride back to Hanoi, unfortunately it was a shared room where another 6 other people was waiting to have a shower. We went downstairs and used the restaurants toilet which had a shower which was uncomfortable as people was sat eating whilst we was walking round in a shower robe!
In ending, please do not stay here there are plenty of newer nicer hotels in the area that will be better suited to your needs in Sapa.

Room Tip: Pick a room at another hotel!

We stayed here as part of a pre-booked tour and overall this place was ok.

We arrived early from the night train from
Hanoi and were greeted at the train station and transferred to the Hotel. We were warmly welcomed with a smile and were able to use the communal room to have a shower and store our luggage while on our overnight home stay.

The 3 days (2 days with 1 night homestay and a half day walk) trekking trip that was organised from this hotel was very enjoyable. Our local guide La La, was friendly and gave great insight into her culture and the other tribes that we visited.

The package included all our meals. The homestay food was good and at the hotel in the downstairs restarant was neither amazing or bad.

The room was adequate. Basic facilities but it was all we needed for our one night stay. We had a welcome bottle of wine and a generous sized basket of fresh fruit in our room. They kindly swapped our wine for 2 beers since we don't enjoy red wine. Had the weather been good we would have had a beautiful view over the village.

Location is excellent. It's right in the centre with markets out the front of the hotel and an easy walk to the church or the local market.

We found the staff helpful and friendly.

The hotel does have wifi but we found during our stay the connection was unreliable. Wasn't really a problem for us as there were lots of places in town that had free wifi.

This place is by no means somewhere to chill out and relax but more a comfortable place to come back to after walking the hills of Sapa.
