“Book train tickets in advance”

Great hotel with nice views and a balcony to enjoy a beer after hard day's trekking. We didn't book our train tickets and they were sold out. Luckily the staff at sapa lodge found is tickets for a few days later. They were very helpful organising everything and responded quickly by email. They also offered a free upgrade room at the sister hotel next door sapa Eden. Clean and nice rooms highly recommend.

Our 2 days stay at Sapa Lodge was a good one. The room was clean and we slept well. All staff are polite and always put on smile that made our stay even more pleasant. We will recommend friend to stay at this hotel. Price wise is reasonable and meet our budget.

I stayed here for 2 nights recently with my 2 teenage children and we had a great experience. We were upgraded to a family suite and the size of the room was great. The team were very good and reliable at organizing all aspects of our trip from the train tickets to the local guides. I found their recommendations were very reliable.

Room Tip: We had a room at he back that was quiet away from the street.

My first night in Sapa, the room was great and clean. We booked a deluxe room with balcony, the view is beautiful. I also enjoyed my Vietnam White coffee at my balcony. Slept well and able to wake up in the early morning to visit the local market in 7am. The hotel chef is generous, serving lunch and dinner which was more than enough for 3-4 pax, the vegetables is fresh and not oily, the beef is slightly overcooked with the hot stone. but overall the foods suit my taste. The hotel staff is friendly and will greeting me when everytime they saw us. Warming feeling like staying in a friend's place instead of hotel. Hotel arranged a great Vietnamese lady, Pheang (Pronounce like "pink") as our tour guide for Cat Cat Village tour. A 6km walk up and down mountain trail with this lady who pregnant for 5 months. Salute to her stamina. She speak very well English and explained everything in very details and not hesitate to answer all our questions.

As conclusion, enjoy my Sapa Town stay in Sala Lodge. Will definitely my first choose if I would back to Sapa again ~

We got in late from our train from Hanoi and they had breakfast waiting for us. The hotel is centrally located although one might say that about all the hotels in Sapa because it is pretty small. The rooms really vary, so make sure you ask for a room with a view of the mountains when you book. The staff is very accommodating. The rates are very reasonable. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is nice. There is a hot pot and mini refrigerator in the room.

Room Tip: If you don't get a room with a view at least ask for a room with a window.

Sapa is absolutely fabulous, and the Sapa Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our one short night. They let us check in at 9.30a,, we only arrived on the night train from Hanoi at 8.30 so it was a perfect amount of time to go get coffee next door at the Hill Station cafe, come back and have a shower and change clothes before setting off on a great day exploring the surrounding mountains, rivers, waterfalls, rice paddies and villages. The next day they let us stay in our room til 4.30pm when we left to get the train back to Hanoi. The staff were lovely and friendly and always had great big smiles. The one worrying thing was when we left our bags there for an hour while we got breakfast, when we came back to check into our room the front desk man started to pick up someone else's bags to carry them to our room, and we had to say No they're not our bags, so there could be a bit more security of leaving your bags there. But I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back in the very near future! The Sapa Essence restaurant directly over the road was delicious too,

Room Tip: We booked the standard room on booking.com for only $35US a night and were upgraded to a room with a...

We were only able to stay one night here but were very sad to leave. The staff was friendly and always happy to help with anything we asked for. One younger male staff member (I wish I knew his name) even helped my boyfriend search the trash and food scraps for an expensive dental appliance that had accidentally been cleared from the table! The location was excellent. It was very easy to walk to anywhere in Sapa and there were even some good restaurants across the street. We were offered a complimentary room upgrade and our view was divine! The rooms were clean and pleasant. The included breakfast was tasty and filling as you could choose to partake from the buffet or order anything from the menu!
