Visited on a Saturday evening. Was very quiet. A Great host, some good liquor, but slightly over priced - still worth a visit.

We had one night to spend in Sighisoara during an extended road trip with friends from abroad: could not have picked a better place! We were lucky enough to secure 4 rooms for a group of 10 people - including three kids. Reservations were made online about 6 weeks before the stay - it was easy and secure; we paid upon arrival - there is the option of choosing the currency: RON, EUR or USD/CAD, and pay by credit card, which I found very helpful.
The hosts were charming and very helpful in getting us from the main road to their place inside the Citadel - with the luggage and mini-van, and that during the medieval festival! We got a tasting inside the cellar as part of the welcoming. They also recommended places to eat - and Teo helped us get reservations at the house where Dracula was born.
The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated and larger than what the photos on the website show; the bathrooms are all equipped with modern fixtures. The location is perfect, right at the bottom of the covered stairs; and within sight of the main plaza of the Citadel.
We shall definitely come back for a more extended stay!

We did the tasting and tried a few brandys and wines. The forest fruit liquor was the tastiest. The cost was $100 Leu for 3 people, so it was a bit expensive for a tiny bit of liquor.

While on a tour with Balkan Trails, our tour guide Stefan recommended we visit Teo's cellar while in Sighisoara. He made the call and Teo was ready for us right away. Teo was extremely polite and welcoming. He let us sample many of his award-winning brandies, which were delightful. After seeing so many touristy-Dracula brandies for sale, we were excited to visit a cellar where brandy making has been a family tradition. We purchased several bottles for us and for gifts.

Tea had a wonderful sense of humor and hospitality - he even put a hat and sword on my mother before we took a group picture! We highly recommend a trip to Teo's cellar!

We stopped by the cellar to check it out and found that we were about 3 hours early for opening. Apparently, Teo happened to see us standing there so he came over and opened up for a bit just to let us see the cellar and sample the brandy he creates. He was very accommodating. Great place in the heart of old town Sighisoara. Highly recommend stopping in and patronizing this little establishment.

The owner is really nice. He allowed us to taste everything we wanted, he told us the story of the cellar, of his drinks and answered all our questions, even though it was relatively late and close to closing time. His drinks are really good, and the taste is 'clean' even though they are strong (this meaning that the products are of high quality). He is a certified producer, and you can buy the drinks on spot or even have them delivered anywhere in Romania. Totally recommend if you have the time. It's right next to the covered stairway too. It also offers rooms for anyone looking to spend the night over.
