“Beautiful hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

Beautifully newly decorated, beautiful rooms and great atmosphere. The feeling is of an old palace.
The restaurant is one if the best in Romania. A very much recommended stay. Great value for the money.
Not many facilities.

There's not really much to say about Sighisoara - it's a beautiful, historical and cultural city - everyone knows that already. Yet Hotel Central Park stands out on its own, from A to Z. Great location, impressive service throughout my staying there, rooms are really a delight (each room is different, therefore each visit here will be unique and not easily forgotten)
Bathrooms are spacious and really clean - the king-sized bed was really comfortable, breakfast was the All-You-Can-Eat type and had lots of healthy, tasty choices.
I could go on and on about this review ....
And that's not even the best part, which is actually the hotel's restaurant & wine bar, but that one has its own deserved review, make sure you check that out.

Room Tip: If you're dandy about bath-tubs - make sure you specify that in your booking. Same goes for colo...

I stayed here for one night during a tour of Romania and it was the best hotel of the trip. Each room is individually decorated, the one we had was very quaint with exposed brickwork and old beams,my childrens' room was stunning with the most stylish bathroom I have seen in a long time. The public rooms are equally as attractive and the very pretty outside courtyard a tranquil spot for a drink. The only blot was a lack of food at breakfast,a large group of Spanish tourists were staying in the hotel and cleared the entire buffet .The hotel staff made no attempt to replenish the food or crockery leaving very little for other tourists and it was only 8.30 am,this is the reason for my poor rating for service but only applies to the breakfast room staff. But this is a minor complaint in what was a stunning hotel.

Room Tip: The large rooms in the attic are fabulous, with rooftop views of the Citadel.

Very nice hotel. Quiet and classy.
Full of chandelliers and paintings.
Every room with a different colour.
Some rooms have balcony with the view on the courtyard, the outher ones are bigger and with view over the citadel.
Good and diverse breakfast.
Waiters are polite.
The interiour courtyard is very nice and quiet.
Definitely worth staying here!

The room at the 1st floor with back view was quiet and nice. Unfortunately we had no balcony, but the room was big enough and it had also a hall.
We asked for a room with tub-bath and matrimonial bed and we received exactly what we asked.
The room had a big flat screen too.

The breakfast was very good, with big portions and enough variety. The coffee and the natural juices at the included breakfast were good, but not as good as the paid ones.
Every food we ordered was well cooked. Try the chocolate cake (chocolate passion), it's incredible.

The staff is polite and smiles all the time. They cleaned the room and made the bed daily and changed the towels every day too.

The only thing missing in the room was a water boiling cup to make some tea by myself.

I totally recommend this hotel, I hope to return here soon!

The rooms and the service are wonderful. Unfortunately some rooms have a crowded bathroom and staying on the wc can be unconfortable for tall people.
Food at the restaurant was good; we went with high expectations but were disapointed.
We have ordered a vegetable quiche which we could not eat it: it was not fresh and it was preheated in the microwave. We have also ordered fois gras which was unfortunately slihjtly burned on one side.
But on the whole, the hotel was a good experience.
During evenings they had live music until about 12 am.
Note that the restaurant is a smoking restaurant.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a bigger bathroom.

This place is really great! Although we did not stay there we went for dinner and we enjoyed a fine dinning experience! The staff was extremely attentive, welcoming, fun, helpful and could not praise them enough for their service! We had some great food as main course and some delicious desserts. The place looks impressive inside and out, with a lovely large courtyard used as a terrace. Recommended.
