“Chickens and truly wonderful food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 January 2011

We loved our stay at Anatolia Resort prettily set in an orchard a little away from the beach with lots of lovely chookies runny around along with a few ducks and the odd peacock. Our delightful room was very clean, spacious and comfortable but the highlight for me was the wonderful food we ate in a simple dining area outside under the vines.

From the accommodation you can walk through orchards to the stony beach for a warm swim in the long stretch of mediterranean sea and then on to visit the Roman ruins of Olympus at the other end of the beach. These are not the most impressive Roman ruins but add a dimension to your stay.

The owner had trouble with his machine for accepting payment by credit card, but as we didnt have sufficient cash he happily drove with us to the next town 20 km away to find an ATM.

Cirali itself is a rather disorganised undeveloped shambling place but has a dramatic backdrop of mountains

We have just returned from the most relaxing visit to this Bed & Breakfast in Cirali. We had a perfect week as guests of Sinan and his lovely wife. We booked in for the Dinner every night too after reading such great reports on TA about the food. So glad we did because you could not fault the meals we had a three course delicious dinner buffet style in the open vine covered dining area where breakfast was also served (except when the weather was poor only one day and we ate on the covered roof terrace equally idyllic)
Sinan organised efficient transfers from the airport and was on hand anytime we needed any advice. There were cycles to potter around the area on handy when going out to the Chimecea which was further than we thought but well worth a visit.
The beach is a 5 min walk and is quiet and unspoilt with a selection of restaurants at one end just set off the beach where we had a snack lunch every day.
There are sun loungers owned by the various pensions/hotels but we never had a problem getting a couple of loungers.
We had just an beautiful time and will definitely return sooner rather than later.

This place is incredibly amazing! The owner is the most friendly person ever, he will make you feel at home since the first "Hallo"!! We spent 3 nights during our honeymoon and he gave us the best room of the resort, totally independent from the main building.
Surrounded by chickens, ducks, pomegranate trees it is just a walk from the main road where you fill find some restaurants (suggested for a quick lunch). Just a bicycle ride from Cirali Beach. It is excellent if you want to retire from the chaos of your daily life and if you want to eat healthy and super delicious food at their buffet dinner.

Lovely place! Set in a beautiful garden with gorgeous view of the mountains within a short (5 min) walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey. Peaceful and serene. If you are looking for a relaxing place to spend a few days, this is it. We loved it. The food at breakfast was great. Somewhat different every day but always delicious. We haven't had dinner at the hotel because we opted for going out every night, but it looked delicious.
The owner, Sinan, is really laid back and really helpful. He let us use the bikes and even his car to go see the Chimaera flames. The rest of the staff is really friendly and helpful as well.
The only thing is, if you want your room cleaned you have to let them know. But you never have to ask for anything twice. They are on top of their game.
We loved the place! Would definitely come and stay there again. In fact, can't wait to come and stay there again!
One thing: if you are a late sleeper, bring earplugs. The rooster made it his business to stand right outside our window every morning :). But actually it was quite enjoyable and preferable to the loud street noise I'm used to in NYC.

This place is a find in beautiful Cirali. The hotel is 3 stories and perhaps the only buidling more than one floor in Cirali. Its set back from the beach so a few minutes walk, we chose it for that reason as we like a stroll and are encouraged to explore a bit more...although rolling out of bed onto a sun lounger is always a marvellous idea..

Breakfast is served on the terrace, overlooking the peacocks, ducks and hens in the lush gardens below , the sea glistening over the trees and majestic mountains behind. The eggs come courtesy of the resident hens and are delicious.

the rooms are frsh and clean each with a small balcony and terace. I'd rather have a fan than air con but no complaints.

Sinan and his staff are warm, friendly and very hospitable.

We chose to stay bed and breakfast rather than Half Board as we like to try somewhere different each night..but the food smelled delicious and we had every intention of staying for dinner but some evenings we left the beach and fell in our relaxed stupor into a restaurant in the beach.

Love it here and have plans to return to a really charming location.

Anatolia Resort is an unusual three storey building surrounded by a lush garden with striking views of the surrounding Toros foothills which encircle and plunge down to the sea at Cirali. The hotel has six appartments each with a balcony and provides Bed and Breakfast (E60 for two per night) or Bed, Breakfast and an excellent Dinner(E85 for two per night) at very reasonable cost. This is good value for money and I strongly recommend eating in, the variety of food and its quality was outstanding, credit to Memtab here.
Sinan and Memtab (his wife) are excellent hosts, highly attentive to guests needs and the other staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal but in no way casual, Sinan is always available for advice and can arrange trips etc through his wide spread of contacts in the village. Sinan is near completing several separate family units in the grounds and these will be available for hire shortly, well worth enquiring about in a few months! The hotel is 10 to 15 mins walk from the beach.
Cirali is one of those very few places which miraculously has avoided all the pitfalls of tourist development and although it has a wide range of guest houses to chose from, all run by locals, from the village iremains small and charming. There are plenty of small restaurants for lunch, out of the midday sun, and the service was always friendly and the prices reasonable. The village has a wonderful, long and uncrowded beach, crystal clear seas and striking scenery. At the western end of the beach there is access to the ancient ruins of the city of Olympos and in the north eastern corner of the Cirali plain you can visit the famous Chimaera (after a steep climb) Hiring a car is very cheap, (tho' petrol is expensive in Turkey, about the same cost as in the UK at the time of writing) and this will give you access to other Graeco- Roman sites esp. Phaselis.
Finally Cirali is not a place for teenagers for whom it does not really cater in terms of evening entertainment, but it is really good for young families and 'empty nesters' more interested in aesthetics than raucous entertainment

Delightful place for holidays! Infinitely beautiful beach, good mountain air, the turquoise sea, very home and cosy hotel, very pleasant and hospitable personnel (our warmest regards). Real paradise for those who wishes to have a rest a soul and body! I'm absolutely assured, we will necessarily return in Çirali and in Anatolia!
