“Cozy little Assos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 January 2013

Wonderful BB, super comfortable and cozy. Ece, the owner, personally received us. The small city of Assos is a hidden jewelry from the Aegean... Wish we will be back someday to spend the summer there.

Ece, the owner of Assos Alarga, made our stay at her B & B a five star experience. A sparkling blue pool was most welcome when we returned from our walking expeditions. The breakfasts were amazing and had a very personal touch. The large bedroom was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. This was one of the best places we stayed in on our visit to Turkey. If you are interested in seeing some pictures of this lovely B & B and the surrounds, visit my picture blog, http:/hennopsrover.blogspot.com. Thank you Ece, you were a perfect host.

We loved our stay here. Ece is the perfect hostess. The homemade breakfast served by the lovely pool was delicious. The position of this small hotel is fabulous with the bonus of a lovely view of the valley and Just a stroll to the impressive ruins above. The town of Assos is quite delightful as well.
We loved our 2 night stay at Assos Alarga and hope to return to stay with sweet little Ece again.

After many years of travelling in Turkey , I suppose by now I ought to be used to great experiences and great hospitality but the recent stay my wife and I had at Assosalarga showed that there are still places which exceed our expectations . The location, nestled in the old stone village at the crest of the hill just below the spectacular ancient site , is special enough with views over the valley below and hills beyond , with the wine dark sea spread out far below over the ridge - but as previous guests have highlighted , the welcome at this guest house is something even better .
Ece manages to make guests feel like old friends / family members within a very short time and ensures that standards of comfort and convenience are maintained seamlessly .
We loved our stay , of several days , and it was a real jolt to realise that we would wake up somewhere else the next day .
Certainly Assosalarga is the real deal - light years away from the somewhat soulless tarted up hamlet of Assos down the hill .
Thank goodness places like this still exist - anywhere .

Smallest but most beautiful hotel in the world. We decided to all of a sudden, and for just one night holiday, could not have been more perfect. We have enjoyed so much that we will visit again and again.

We stayed only 1 night...what a pity! The host Ece was really amazing! The guest house has all the comfort anyone could need. We had an excellent breakfast near the beautiful swimming pool. All was perfect!!! We highly racommend Assosalarga for the beautiful stone buinding, for Ece's kindness (she welcomed us speaking Italian...a gold dust in turkey!) and for the unforgettable breakfast! It was a lovely stay, we felt like home!
