“Lovely seaside location and excellent service”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

Quaint stone building in village like setting looking across to Greek islands. Lovely pool and sea swimming off dock. No beach. Right on the sea with lovely restaurant. Only defect is no elevator. (Hardworking bell hops brought up luggage) OK if you can manage a flight or two of stairs.Gorgeous sun sets.

We got lost on our way to Assos / Behramkale, so it was dark & rather late by the time we finally found our way to this delightful hotel. We drove down this long, winding road & through a restaurant (yes, THROUGH the restaurant - tables outside on both sides of the tiny narrow roadway in town!) and arrived at the hotel. Nowhere to park, so we unloaded the luggage & turned the keys over to a helpful hotel employee who indicated he would park the car for us.

As we entered the lobby, we were struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere & the friendliness of the on-site hotel staff. Delighted & relieved, we were told the restaurant would be happy to accommodate the 4 of us for a late dinner.

Escorted to our room, we were met with the inevitable flight of stairs - but a lovely four-poster bed & very modern bathroom met with our approval in our accommodations. Lovely rooms!

We connected with our friends & headed to the restaurant. It was a gorgeous evening, so we opted to sit outside alongside the marina. We asked the waiter to suggest appetizers, meals, and dessert - we weren't disappointed! The meal was amazing & our waiter was a delightful comedian!

Beautiful hotel, terrific restaurant for dinner & breakfast, and the area is stunning in its beauty. A definite must for accommodations in Assos!

We came down to the fishing village at Assos by chance & decided almost immediately to stay. Within an hour or so we decided to extend to 2 nights.
The front desk service was excellent. We had a DBB deal at 200TL per night. The dinners & breakfasts were excellent.
Room size was small but adequate. Cleanliness was good.
The hotel has an open air restaurant which extends across the road (pedestrian only) to a wharf area. An excellent evening dinner location.
Adjacent to this restaurant is a deck chair area with towels provided & excellent sea swimming. There is also a pool area which looked perfect but we were more than happy in the sea.
Thoroughly recommended & I would stay there again in a heartbeat

Room Tip: Room 202 was fine but cannot comment further

Assos is beautiful with its small bay with restaurants right up to the water edge. The Kervansary hotel was located right at the mid point between the Aegean Beach on one side and the town on the other. The beach is pebbly but if you want to relax by the sea there are platforms with sun-loungers and umbrellas and waiters to bring you food and drink. But the Kervansary also has a nice sized swimming pool.

There is a good restaurant and while some of the rooms are in a building across the road, all are close and easy to get to. The staff were friendly.

To be honest any where in Assos is likely to be nice but this hotel was excellent.

We loved Turkey and so we put all our holiday experiences online at www.my-family-adventure-holiday-reviews.com/turkey or see my other trip advisor reviews.

A nice location on the water for investigating the Assos area and all, it's delights. Lodging and service were more than ample for our needs in this rural area of Turkey. The aura here was casually comforting. Good food in the restaurant too.....

Though the view over the sea to Lesbos was nice, I'm afraid this hotel didn't live up to expectations or what was advertised. Granted I stayed in early April so it hadn't really got going, but the pool was not filled up, the room was not the same as the one we booked and it stank of cigarette smoke. The staff were so overly attentive in the restaurant (they had far too many on duty for the number of guests) that they were literally taking away our plates whilst we were eating from them. Our protestations for them to slow down the service fell on deaf ears and smiling faces. The shower needed updating badly, neither did it work properly or have hot water, though this was eventually fixed. All in all it was a very odd experience, we had a good laugh about it afterwards though. What else can you do?!

After staying the previous night at Tusan Hotel in Canakkule we were expecting a lovely room at Assos Kervansary Hotel, after looking at the website. Instead we received a room overlooking the road with quite a lot of noise coming from down below and also cigarette smoke which could travel up into your room. A very uncomfortable seat to sit on at the mirror for doing computer work. So tiny a normal person can barely sit on it, with no backrest whatsoever. No tea or coffee making facilities, no alarm clock Good swimming on the beach, evening meal lovely, breakfast average.
