The gimmick of this restaurant is that they ferry you to and from the restaurant for free. However, this pleasant free boat trip comes at the cost of being unable to walk away from a bad experience! The prices posted on the city side miraculously doubled (Sea Bass rose from 15 lira to 30 lira) upon arrival. We insisted and it dropped again, but certainly a case of caveat emptor. All the seafood was well prepared and tasty. The meze was boring, shading into low quality. The worst was the lamb kebab. 22 lira for a few charred bits. So dry and so small it couldn't satisfy a starving dog. The wine was unspeakably vinegary. However, my main warning would be to women travelling without men: we could not eat in peace even after being firm with the staff. Having travelled all over Turkey for many years I've never had such a creepy experience: made worse by not being able to walk away.
