this was our first time in turkey and we found this great hotel lovely location we arrived very early sunday morning there we were greeted very well the rooms are really well presented we stayed in room 213 which overlooks the large pool and bar area the staff are really friendly the hotel grounds are kept immaculate as are the rooms the cleaners do an amazing job the breakfast was a buffet style with an excellent choice the pool bar food is amazing kadri the pool manager is ace likes a laugh also if you are unsure as where to go and eat kadri will tell you the best places to go the bar manager gokhan makes an effort to talk to his guests at the bar i will say about the sun loungers there are a number of them that have got broken slats in them but the padding makes it comfortable I would recommend having the Turkish bath on the first day cant wait for next year as we will be returning with the family still a lot to do and explore in dalyan

After my partner reviewed lots of great reviews on here about this hotel we were delighted when we booked through Thomas Cook at a bargain price. We had a late flight on the 2nd of August so arrived early hours of the 3rd of August upon arrival we just wanted to get in our room and get some shut eye however the receptionist at the time explained due to somebody being ill and unable to fly we was to be sent to another hotel for the night, we were disappointed and never got any sleep for the remainder of that night. At around 10 o clock on the Sunday we went for the Thomas Cook welcome meeting where the rep was surprised to gain us at the hotel we were placed in rather than the Binlik and got told then and there the situation we were hot and bothered as we was still in our airport clothes.
Having said this the hotel compensated by giving us a free safe and meal which we accepted and happy with, and the hotel itself was lovely with two pools we spent most of first week by the big pool but found the smaller pool got the sun all day and the bigger pool lost the sun if you wasn't in the right place in the afternoon. I have to agree with most reviews as the sun beds have missing slots and yes with thick mattresses can't really feel them missing but really should be replaced, we ate at the hotel a few times for lunch and the food were delicious.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the maids were lovely we had room 203 which overlooked the smaller pool and the hotel was very quiet and mellow which is just what we wanted, but felt that if they had a BBQ night it would attract more people eating there in the evening.

The last week wasn't so delightful my partner was very unwell and on the day we were due to fly home he was sent to the doctors, our check out time was 12 o clock but a taxi was sent for me and my partner to go to the doctors at 11:55 I was told by the female receptionist I had to go and finish packing my bags and get them out before 12 even though I asked if it could wait till my partner got seen to in the doctors but this was refused, then whilst at the doctors the same receptionist rang the doctors and spoke to me and said I had to go back within half an hour to pay the bar bill which I though was unacceptable as my partner was very sick and didn't see the urgency to pay a bill as our bags were still there I wasn't about to leave the country without them and our transfer time wasn't until midnight that evening that was if we were able to go at all. My partner was told it would be best if he went to hospital and not fly but we were under the impression we would only be sent to the hospital as there were no rooms available for us to stay and extra night in our hotel and rest as the doctor said all hotels are full where will you go if not fly, so I spoke to the Thomas cook rep who at first wasn't very helpful and wasn't until I asked to complain that he came to the hotel with his manager and even she admitted that some of their hotels are booked and double booked and some people who booked over Internet will have to go elsewhere which in my opinion is disgusting but in the end after me saying it was out of order when we lost our first night to someone being poorly and not able to fly we were able to go to another room to rest when my partner finally left the doctors and managed to get home. I am put off Thomas Cook again for the 2nd time and will be writing a complaint to them but not put off the hotel as it was lovely, rooms clean , pools great sizes, food great especially breakfast choices and staff friendly and attentive apart from the lack of compassion from female receptionist at the end such as the bar bill incident.

We managed to try and liked are The Lime restaurant where I had a lovely fish casserole, also liked the hidden garden which did a massive mixed grill for my partner and a sea bass for myself and four seasons restaurant which we ate there twice, there were others that we tried and weren't disappointed with, there are so many restaurants you won't be bored.

Just one little last note if you book with Thomas Cook if you book excursions with them which we did when it says BBQ on board the boat please note it's not a proper BBQ just a piece of chicken and two meatballs.

Room Tip: 203 in block b is where we stayed overlooked smaller pool.

Stayed here for ten nights and as it was our first time in Turkey were a bit apprehensive before we arrived, we need not have been.

Our room was immaculately clean ( rooms cleaned to same standards daily) with excellent air con, bathroom and flat screen T.V. There was also a small fridge in the room stocked with beer, water and fizzy drinks which you pay for on check out if you have used any, they are not overly expensive if you wish to indulge yourself.

There are two pools at hotel which are also kept very clean and a garden where you can also relax in the sun if needs be. Breakfast we found to be excellent, a good variety of cereals, tea/coffee/juices and omelettes and eggs cooked to order. We sampled the lunch time snacks at the bar side a couple of times which were also perfectly delicious. I recommend the mixed sandwich. We only had dinner here once and it was on the recommendation of one of the staff members (Kadre?) that we had the Alexander meatballs which we both thought were beautiful.

We really found the bar staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly especially if you make the effort to talk with them. The bar manager who is a young man called Ghokan is a really genuine and friendly person, he couldn't do enough for us to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible for us and we made real good friends with him and really enjoyed his company, he is an excellent bar man and a real credit to the Binlik Hotel.

The Binlik is literally 5mins walk from all the main shops and restaurants and is a real nice place which we intend to return to in the near future. If you want a beautiful, clean and professionally run Hotel then the Binlik is for you.

Room Tip: Our room was a twin room 206 which overlooked the smaller pool, we found this to be nice and quiet.

Fantastic holiday!

Hotel is lovely. 25 minutes from Dalaman airport. Has 2 pools- both have plenty parasols and sun beds. One is next to a pool bar which you can eat lovely food at for great prices. Room was nice too- had a balcony overlooking the pool. Was kept very clean by housekeepers who came every day. Owner of the hotel works at the poolside bar, he's very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Food
There is a cheap supermarket a 2 minute walk away, and restaurants only 5 minutes. There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants, all very cheap. These stay open until around 2am. As a vegetarian I was worried about what I would eat- but found there was plenty of options at most restaurants. Restaurants I would recommend:
The White House: further down the main road this restaurant is not the cheapest (but not expensive either) and has a beautiful terrace, fantastic service and great food.
Yakamoz: this restaurant allows you to over look the river, is beautiful at night and serves great food
Atlas: this is near to Yakamoz, also overlooking the river has great service, a beautiful restaurant and view for great prices.

Trips
We preferred to go on short trips rather than all day ones. Get the daily taxi (every 20 mins) from the river side for 10L each (about 3£) return to iztuzu beach (also called turtle beach). You can see the tombs as you go past on the way. When you get this boat, ask the driver to show you the turtles. For an extra 5L (1.50£) he will drop the other passengers off and take you a short distance, where men will feed the turtles crabs before taking you back to the beach. This was an amazing experience as the turtles were huge and could be seen easily! The beach was lovely, very sandy and clear water with cheap sunbeds and a small cafe.

Ancient ruins. Ancient ruins are worth going to, get the boat across the river and then have a 15 minute walk (up a hill in the heat) to the ruins. Entry fee was 10L per person. These are still bring excavated but are well preserved.

Mud baths
The mud baths were fun (possibly slightly strange) cheap to go to on the boat, 5L entry. Sit in the mud bath, then shower and use the thermal baths, very relaxing in a beautiful area.

Overall: would highly recommend Binlik hotel and going to dalyan! Plenty to do and see in a beautiful area.

This is our third time at the Binlik in 5 years.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The rooms are well cleaned daily.
The choice for breakfast seems less this year that on our previous visits which was disappointing.
For us a veggies the lunch menu is okay if you only eat in on a couple of occasions as there is very little choice and has remained pretty much the same in 5 years.
The hotel offers a romantic meal by the pool at night, however there is absolutely NOTHING on the menu for vegetarians, which we were really surprised at, when we decided to eat in one evening which is why we have never eaten there in the evening, we had to choose something from the lunch menu, which is a bit of a joke.
We will return again no doubt in a year of two.

Room Tip: We were woken every morning at about 4:30am by the hotels cockerel, do not stay in the main building...

Just returned from a 11 night stay at the Binlik. The location is very close (5 mins walk) to the river and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are all friendly and the breakfast provides a choice that would suit everyone. Very nice fried eggs, omlet's and pancakes cooked to order. If you are looking for a nice peaceful hotel close to the river then look no further than the Binlik.

Room Tip: I don't think there is much to choose from A, B and C block. We stayed in B block overlooking th...

Have just returned from this little gem 2 days ago and had a great time.I can only repeat what has already been said in previous reviews. The hotel is in a great location (5 mins from center)very clean and maid service every day, staff really friendly,2 good clean pools(my wife and i chose the smaller quieter one)breakfast is good with usual cereals, fruits, juices, pancakes and eggs to order etc,a very good poolside bar and restaurant. There are 3 blocks(a b & c)we stayed in B room 105 which faces the small pool, beds were very comfy, the air con excellent and the fridge worked which is a plus for these places. In the resort itself it is 5tlpp return for a boat trip to Turtle Beach which is so enjoyable so do early as you will want to do it more than once.At the beach loungers and shade are 9tl for the day(great value)Restaurant prices in the resort are great overall(fillet steak about35tl (£10 roughly)and service very good).I am always very reluctant to recommend anywhere i go as it might not suit family and friends but would not hesitate to do so here as it was great value for money and deserves all the good reviews and will return again.Make sure you have a chat with Kadri(poolbar manager) as he is a laugh.

Room Tip: Block is most recently refurbished as talking to C block residents they did not have flat screen tvs
