Have been to Dalyan on numerous occasions and stayed in many hotels - we like trying them out. This hotel was without a doubt the best we have stayed in. We had a double room facing the pool. It was cleaned every day. The bed was large and comfortable. Lovely size balcony to sit out on. Beautiful mountain views. The garden was gorgeous. Pools x2 - both well maintained. The sun loungers were washed by the staff early every morning.
Plenty of storage in room. The bathroom was modern. Very efficient shower and kept clean by the cleaning staff. Clean towels every 3 days but easy to obtain more if required. Breakfast in the morning was beautiful and of good quality - cereals, different breads, yogurt, fresh tomatoes, olives, cucumber, boiled eggs and a choice of 2 different hot dishes every morning, juice, coffee and a variety of teas.
Staff lovely, very pleasant stroll into town (10 minutes away), plenty of restaurants. Staff happy to organise trips.
Stayed August 2011 for 2 weeks. Will be returning to Calbis.

Room Tip: All rooms appeared quiet and with good balcony space. We had a ground floor pool facing room - not n...

Really nice, clean hotel. The room was nice, with good air conditioning, nice balcony, spacious and clean. The maid was very effiecient.
There are two pools which are both big and loads of sun beds. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfasts were good, nice instant coffee, choice of eggs , bread, etc very turkish! Again, whats not to like?!
We used the bar for the occasional drink but never ate at the hotel other than breakfast.
All in all great hotel, in a good location, 10 mins walk to the main part of Dalyan.
We are already planning to come back and can find no reason not to go back to the Calbis.

Stayed 19/9 - 25/9 and this was the 1st time back in Dalyan for ten years.
Good Points:
The hotel grounds & the two pools are really good. The female staff at least were friendly & the cleaners & female waiting staff did a great job. Our room 510 was on the ground floor, pretty big as a consequence & at the end of the gardens overlooking the pool. It was thankfully not at the back facing the somewhat dusty lane & neighbouring houses to the rear. it was also well out of earshot of the bar & the Quiz Evening.. The aircon is great. The walk to the village was a flat 10 minutes even on a stick - more is the pity since the last visit the village seems to have been suffocated under Karaoke bars, Goldfish bowl cocktails and all day English reakfasts. There were some lovely old restaurants left - Go to Cehan past the mosque on the river bank for a taste of what Dalyan used to be . . . .
Bad Points:
The room was very dark outside at nights & with that & high step & the ramps to the dining room was a was a real trip hazard. Hand rails? Lighting?
The evening meal we paid for was okay - just (school dinnerish in quality I thought) & the dining room was both dark & lacking in ambiance. Candles? Table lights? Glad we were just B&B!
With no room kettle we missed our early morning tea more than we thought we would. Tepid bottled water does not quite do the same does it at 6am does it? Couples were however bringing drinks & food in (wine, crisps etc from nice local shop 5 mins away) to drink on the balconys & around the pool. We did not out of pure inability to carry shopping.
Safe Deposit - we were told by Reception & on the Room Document it was refundable. It isn't the Document is out of date.

Room Tip: Email your requirements & ask nicely depending on personal needs & then pray!

Well we have just returned from the holiday Calbis and it's exactly what everybody said it would be. It is very clean, lovely pool, pretty grounds, nicely situated , fantastic shower, good air conditioning in rooms and one of the best breakfasts we have had from a 3*. In fact when we got back we have booked again for next September.

Room Tip: All rooms are good

Stayed at Holiday Calbis for 1 week. On arrival, at 5am, shown to our room by night porter. Tried shower, no hot water and control no working properly, tried sink and drain blocked, used toilet and seat very loose. Had booked a double room but 2 singles on place, we were dog-tired so had a couple of hours sleep and got up for breakfast. Breakfast was great, typical Turkish but all good quality food, except for the fruit juice (squash!), no complaints there and also helpfull and happy staff. Went to receiption to complain about room and they couldn't have been more helpfull. Within 10 minutes maid and handyman were in the room sorting problems. We left them to it and went to the beach for the day! On our return all was perfect!
The week carried on that way, room fine, breakfast good, pool and grounds lovely. We didn't sample the bar or evening meals (Dalyan centre is just a 10 minute level stroll with great restaurants and bars, recommend "Ramazan Han"s Liver starter and any Steak) but had the impression the drinks at the bar could soon mount up price wise.
Recommend for couples looking for a good value and quiet place but within short walk to town.

Just returned from a weeks holiday in September at the Holiday Calbis, stayed in room 210 (great view), first time in Turkey since 2003 where we stayed in Marmaris (awful place). Dalyan & the Calbis have restored our faith in Turkey. A lovely hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. We went in a party of four and are intending to come back to the Calbis next year. The hotel grounds are beautiful and relaxing, only gripe would be not enough sunbeds & umbrellas but this did not spoil our holiday. Food & drinks around the hotel bar are good value. Dalyan itself is a lovely place to eat & drink, favourite place to eat was the Kervansary close to the hotel. Hired a boat for the day and had a great time spotting turtles & catching Blue crabs!
Can't wait to returm next year to explore Dalyan more.

Hotel Calbis good 3* hotel, clean and comfortable though could have done with top sheet as well as the cover provided. Excellent and powerful shower. Breakfast was fine in the usual Turkish manner. Lunches at pool bar good selection and not too expensive. Didn't have evening meals at hotel but walked in to Dalyan and tried different places, my favourite was the Purple Tulip, food and service absolutely superb. Good fun place for food and drinks was the Pop In Fun Pub, Mustafa and staff good fun. Trip on Captain Ali's boat was a good day as well, went to a market then swam in the sea followed by trip to the mud baths, good laugh. The Saturday market in Dalyan was also very good. Loved Dalyan and would certainly not hesitate to go back again

Room Tip: We were in room 505 which is away from the main buildings and was lovely and quiet.
