Beautifully presented hotel making the most of the location's fantastic mountain views and riverside position. Ambience during our first week of a fortnight was rather that of finding ourselves in a private club, as many of the other guests were frequent returnees., however the setting lends itself to relaxation, the management organises delightful excursions for reasonable cost and the hotel's boat is superb. We chose to go during term-time, I don't think we would opt for such a small hotel once small people were on holiday. BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!

One caveat to anyone un-used to Dalyan's pavements, the hotel's a 15min walk into town on uneven pathways, no place for heels, and a torch is very useful along the riverside after an evening out.

Another excellent Simpsons hotel. Small and intimate but not overly so. Everything revolves around the pool and bar during the day, very relaxed and informal. Staff are helpful and efficient, but could smile a bit more. Very child friendly but beware the pool doesn't have a shallow end for non swimmers.

Hotel boat trip to the beach is a simple and enjoyable excursion, but the highlight was the evening cruise and swimming in the lake. Our daughter described it as the best thing ever !

Only gripes - food at lunchtime usually took about 45 minutes to arrive so allow time for hungry kids. We also left our room account to settle on check out and we were just given a figure to pay with no way of checking or getting any breakdown of how the figure was arrived at.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...Do not go there, because if you do it will leave less room for us to return!! Go to Bodrum or somewhere else, I hear Kalkan is nice!

If I could find a way to hide this lovely place from the rest of you I would! :) 70% of people return here, so here's the problem....If you go too, very soon there will be no room left for us!

Nothing more to add as it's all been said before, miss you all and see you soon! James.

Room Tip: They are all ok...some people are just picky!!

We had a lovely stay here and really chilled out in the garden of the hotel every day. The hotel was full and there were a lot of children which we weren't expecting as we thought they broke up for summer hols a bit later - I guess they were from private schools, they were all very well behaved.
The bedrooms are small but the beds are so comfortable, the air con a godsend and the upstairs seemed useful for the folk travelling with kids- luggage store for us. The mozzies made an appearance later in the week but you are provided with some plug ins.
The guys running the hotel really make it, they are very slick and nothing is too much trouble. The pool bar is fantastic and as said before it is the centre of the hotel. The food at lunchtime is lovely (wraps, salads, toasties etc). The evening meals are also good, as good as any restaurant we went to in Dalyan. The BBQ evenings are great too, I am a vegetarian and I was well catered for. The boat to the beach if fun, we only did it once but we loved it. The beach is nice but not enough shade for me and the water is quite rough......very beautiful though. Takes about 40mins to get there on the hotel boat. Hotel boat goes at different times each day and the timetable can be found at the bar!
Dalyan itself is nice, quite commercialised with lots of restaurants trying to cater to the UK market with English breakfasts etc-yuck! We had some nice food in a variety of restaurants but nothing memorable-I preferred the hotel food. Dalyan is a nice walk along the river, there are many restaurants on the way in overlooking the river.
Food and drink was reasonable and definitely less than anywhere in the € zones.
A lot of people there were repeat visitors and I would credit that to the wonderful hotel and staff. Simpson Travel and Jessica were great, no complaints there at all. There are many places I would like to visit so am unlikely to go back but only for that reason. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday but not peaceful whilst by the pool or in the garden.......lots of pool activity and noisy boats going up and down the river. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable.

The hotel is only 14 years old and has been designed for a peaceful stay with the rooms extending out from the reception in a "V" form. Hence the rooms stay cool no matter the time of day and they are situated in very well kept and mature gardens. It's not a large establishment so all the guests, and their foibles, are known by the staff but without being invasive. Guest are treated like guests and not room numbers or cash cows. The rooms appear a little small at first but you soon come to realise your living room or lounge is out by the pool mixing with other guests or in your own quiet corner.
The hotel revolves around the open air bar area where the host (Rhami) has his "office" where guests gravitate to prior to departing on a sojourn and on return with their tales of daring do or impossible bargains made. This centre of gravity is where trips are organised, problems solved, information is passed, laugher and humour abound and of course beverages are served.
There is one particularly distinctive feature about this hotel that would make us return and that is: Rhami and his team. His guests and his colleagues are extremely loyal which is why the hotel has an over 75% rebooking rate. That must be exceptional and if Simpsons lose sight of that they will lose their guests as well.
Our week in June (the first without children in tow) was exactly what we wanted; unpressurised, flexible, and relaxing. We joined several of the organised trips which were expertly designed to miss the majority of the tourists bussed into Dalyan providing quiet and relaxing views on the local areas directly from the river side at the hotel. Not to be missed is the evening tour of the Caunos ruins with Rhami as the guide who was passionate and knowledgeable.
The hotel was 15 mins walk from the centre of Dalyan along the river so if was a pleasant amble to and from the town for dinner although the food in the hotel was also very good. As some visitors have said before you almost don’t want to write a good report about this place so others don’t find out!

Room Tip: Closer to the reception is quietest but little noise from the hotel or guests anyway (apart from lau...

We were after a relaxing holiday in quality surroundings and I can say that we found it with the Aydos Club. Came away after a week's break with the batteries completely recharged and am in two minds whether to submit a review, as I don't want too many people finding out about this place.... I think the fact that several of the other guests were (multiple) repeat visitors to the place speaks volumes.

The location is great; just by a lazy river overlooking rocky outcrops, a 15 minute comfortable walk along a well made (and street lit) path alongside the river to get you into Dalyan if you want alternative places to eat, a large lake just a 5 minute boat trip in one direction and a beach just a 30 minute(ish) boat trip in the other direction. The beach itself is was wonderfully clean and sandy (it's a protected beach as the turtles use it for hatching their eggs) and on one of the evening boat trips organised by the hotel we had the place entirely to ourselves .... The swimming pool was lovely and clean - (not treated with gallons of chlorine like you get in some places...)

The hotel's private boat was a nice little luxury too. It certainly stood out from the other boats using the river!

The food in the restaurant was very good and the prices compared favourably to what you might get down town. The rooms were good and clean and all in all I'd struggle to find a fault with the place.

At the time of our visit the kids back in UK were still at school and the place was only half full, so I don't know what it would be like at height of season, but as it's quite a small place you'll not be overrun with toddlers. There are only 20 apartments in this hotel and this keeps it relatively intimate and ensures that you don't end up spending all you holiday squabbling over the sunbeds either.

The Simpsons travel rep (Jessica) was great for holiday tips as she lives in Dalyan throughout the year and the staff in general were all very friendly.....

I MUST have something critical to say......

Nope... can't think of anything.....

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side might be noisier, as when we were there a hotel further up the river held a...

Wonderful holiday for a week in May. Hot weather and great hospitality at the hotel. Rhami the Manager is always happy to provide help and advice to make the perfect holiday. Good local restaurants with delicious food and always willing to please. Fantastic scenery and very peaceful environment for a wonderful early break in the sun. Olgun makes the best cocktails and entertains with great music at the bar. The hotel has its own boat and takes guests to the local beach and on great local excursions along with their own special personal service. Check out visiting the ruins at kaunos and the waterfall at Koycegiz. Enjoy the trout farm too for a delicious lunch. Ensure to ask for Mohamid if you need a taxi. Brilliant holiday!

Room Tip: By Reception is quiet and near the pool is busier.
