My second visit to the Kilim, this time even took my husband! A week was just not long enough to enjoy all that is on offer at the Kilim, and beyond. Becky and Emrah make wonderful hosts attentive but not intrusive. Impromptu live music with guests, friends and hosts all contributing and showing off their talents are not to be missed. Even people who had 'misguidedly' booked to stay elsewhere turned up for these music sessions and reluctantly returned to their impersonal hotels. Despite our only having a week we found we relaxed fully and have returned to UK reluctantly but refreshed. You won't be disappointed with the Kilim if you like a clean, friendly and sociable hotel experience.

Bluesman Fife. My wife and I have been Kilim regulars now for some years. The place just gets better and better! Every year there are little improvements and upgrades that make this one of the best locations for a relaxing, enjoyable and entertaining holiday. The people make it - not just Becky, Emrah, Adem and other members of the team, but the fellow guests who enter into the "Kilim experience" - great chat, great camaraderie and lots of laughter. And then there's the music, the barbecues, the sailing trips, the views of the tombs...the list goes on. My advice - go try. You'll experience the real Turkey in a charming little hotel that's a world away from the big, bland, corporate five-star dormitories.

We love this part of Turkey and keep returning to the Kilim Hotel it is small and friendly with some of the biggest rooms in Dalyan run by Emrah and Becky The western Mediterranean coast is worth exploring either underwater (Emrah is a qualified Dive instructor) or by boat which Becky arranges. Don't go anywhere else!

Our first time in Turkey and we very luckily chose the Kilim to stay in for the week. Lovely atmosphere, close to town, basic, clean and comfortable, large airy rooms, pool, river side chill area, great food and very special people running it. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Dalyan itself is a great place and staying at the Kilim was the icing on the cake (or should that be the other way round, Dalyan is the icing on the cake of Kilim?).
Thank you Becky, Emrah, Adem and team. We will be back.

I have travelled all over the world and stayed in some very different place but have never come accross a place as Kilim Hotel in Dalyan.
You are welcomed here as part of the family and everybody will go out of their way to do as much as possible for you to make your stay enjoyable. I stayed here for the first time during an extended trip through Turkey in 2010 and have now just returned from a second visit. Only for a week and just to this Hotel. I was scared that a place you stayed in and loved some years before might not live upto the expectation the second time round, but my fear was ungrounded, It was at the same time as if I had never been away and returned after a too long stint away to a loving family.

Keep up the good work. I will be back.

We spent a night here at the earliest part of the tourist season and can echo other reviews on the friendly and relaxed atmosphere created by owners Becky and Emrah and assistant Adem. The location away from the bustle of town is ideal, the pool and restaurant/bar area are very nice, and the riverfront area across from the Lycian tombs was a surprise bonus (with a view as good as the tour boats). Our room itself was basic - clean, spacious, but a bit worn around the edges. But the value is very good, and the other strengths definitely outweigh the minor weaknesses in the room. Truly enjoyed meals and chats with hosts and guests alike. Very welcoming place.

Becky and Emrah have created something very special with the Kilim hotel, we had one of the best holidays ever there last year August 2011, the hospitality and the food were second to none and we cannot wait to make a return visit, Dalyan is one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed in.
