Decided to treat ourselves after a savage wind came through the harbour and kept us up all night.

Headed up the hill to Culinarium and were very impressed. The Turkish ravioli with porcini were excellent (closest thing to truffles I can remember) and my wife had the stuffed zucchini flowers. Main courses were chicken breast, again with mushrooms, and my wife had the sea bass.

Both were cooked perfectly, moist inside, crunchy outside. Couscous with a slight chili tang was a great accompaniment on my plate.

Service was prompt and efficient. Nice view back over our boat.

Immediately recommended it to the long-term cruisers in our winter marina for when they are up this way.

Price was surprisingly low, although we didn't have any alcohol which boosts any meal price in Turkey.

Went for a family meal here while staying in Datca and it was the best meal in a week filled with good meals. More 'Modern European' than Turkish to my mind but making great use of local ingredients. Starter was zucchini flowers stuffed with fish and prawns, rather than the usual rice, which was wonderful. Then beautifully cooked sea bass with a really fresh-tasting sauce. Finally a fantastic almond semifeddo with home made strawberry ice cream. Had a very decent and reasonably priced Riesling to go with that. A bit pricey (by local standards) but a total bargain compared to food of a similar quality in London. All enjoyed while watching the sun go down over the marina. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

We took a quick lunch, a single meal, but what we had was very very well cooked and tasty. We would like to return to datcha for a longer diner, but it has been unfortunately not possible. Absolutely to visit.

It's probably the best place to eat in town. At least if you want to avoid aubergines and meatballs and dad mezzos. But they serve the same menu year in year out. Great setting. But the chef is grumpy, the service is prone to be mega slow, and the German wife/maitre d has something of the hockey trainer about her. You wouldn't want to mess with her. And sometimes, 'cos it ain't the cheapest restaurant, it's rather empty and lacking atmosphere. But the food is usually tasty.

This is our "go to" spot whenever we are back in Datca. Nicely located at ground and top floor level overlooking the Datca Harbour and Aegean Sea. With all of the dining out on vacation, it's good to find a spot that offers healthy, light , tasty and delicious food & very good beverage selection. A special compliment to Ulrike & Faruk the hosts.
An exceptional restaurant where you can take your guests to without any doubt. We will come back for sure.
