Description: The old olive oil mill in the village of Yaka came to life in the hands of artisans. The stone building which was more than a century old was restored and became a Cafe - Restaurant. We invite you to enjoy our Mediterranean cuisine either inside the cool stone building or in the shades of olive trees in our garden. The restaurant is open in summer.

Yakamengen Kafe had the most delicious food that I ate in Datça. The lamb, mixed plate of mezedes, pudding with almond and orange were all excellent. It has a relaxing garden as well. The prices are similar to the other restaurants in Datça. Highly recommended!

Try the homemade lemonade!

Ambiance is good. Food is really good although not the typical local menu.

Well, this was a big discovery, firstly the simple beauty of Datca and than the simple, unconventional Yakamengen restaurant.Very simple, relaxed atmosphere with the super friendly owner Arda and his wonderful team that stays behind the kitchen and service. You should try the Keci peynir plate, the meze entree, any kind of dessert that is made ....i spend 7 days in Datca and this restaurant was like my kitchen...so i tried almost everything and everything was just to lick your fingers when the plate was empty:)İ highly recommend it to any travelers coming to Datca region.Yaka and the villages around it are famous for their almonds, olive oil,capers,honey,soap....another dream for people who love organic food and the still untouched nature...all this feelings are a big part of the atmosphere in the Eden garden of Yakamengen.I Simply love it

Very nice, welcoming restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The ambiance is great. Food is delicious. I would recommend the cold Turkish starters (meze), the "roka salad with orange", the deserts and the home made lemonade. There is not much choice of main dishes but there are dishes for everyone. The staff is polite and welcoming. Price level is also good, not overpriced. I would like to warn those who wil choose to visit this restaurant that credit card is not accepted, you need to bring cash. I would highly recommend anyone who visit Datca, especially Palamutbuku which is a marvelous bay nearby to try this restaurant.

If you go to Datca, this restaurant is a must! After we discovered this place we didn't want to eat anywhere else and wanted to go back every night. They have excellent food prepared with the freshest ingredients with the right touch of local flavours. Atmosphere is very nice and laid back with its beautifully lit garden under olive and fig trees. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I have food intolerances and they did everything to cater to my needs. My husband loved their meze platter, grilled goat cheese and homemade ravioli. My daughter finished every single bite of her lamb chops served with zucchini puree and wanted to lick her plate of frozen cake. I hope to go back again and have rocket salad with oranges and almonds with homemade minty lemonade topped with a good portion of profiterole! Exquisite!
