We have stayed for a few days and did not want to leave. Heather and Peter are very warm and helpful hosts. They have a beautiful country home and maintain extensive manicured gardens. The room and the large bed were very comfortable and we had everything we wished for. We very much enjoyed the breakfast with the bottled fruit, home-made cereals and we consider ourselves lucky as we were served freshly baked rolls. Once the chickens start laying one will even get fresh eggs!
Heather made many suggestions about the best restaurants in the village, great walks and mountain bike trails in the National Park and a trip to the Whanganui River. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to do it all. So, we will be back!
