All we needed for our overnight stay. Clean, well equipped, very comfortable and quiet. Craig was very welcoming with a just needed latte on arrival. The cost was reasonable with complimentary wifi. Well done.More
Craig and Rebecca had been wonderful hosts who were very welcoming and helpful, so were the rest of their team. All of them made us feel very much at home.
Our 5-week stay was very comfortable! Clean, well maintained, relatively spacious and warm rooms (was winter then). Just like in the photos, a furnished apartment with everything you need (even an oven in the kitchen). WiFi is free, though it would have been nicer if it was unlimited.
Overall, a great place to stay with 5-star service! Thank you guys =)

3 ladies arrived for a bit of a do! A great welcome and the unit was excellent value for money. Comfortable beds and spacious lounge. All good actually, especially the complimentary lattes in the morning.
Welcomed in the most friendly way and at such a late hour! Then offered a complimentary expresso. Older motel being done up however I stayed in one of the existing rooms and it was warm comfortable and everything you need. Grt stay nicely maintained grounds which reflects the attitude of staff. And great reception convenience shop to support and added requirements in both snacks and necessities . Like all of ashburton there is a train near by but bearable
We stayed at Taylors Motel on the first night of our trip to NZ. We received a very warm and friendly welcome & a complimentary cappuccino & hot chocolate. In fact, our greeting was priceless. The room was exactly as described, very clean & comfortable.
i had never been to ashburton & its good a strange layout with the train line & sh1 running next to each other & this motel on the road running parrallel to both- the freight trains arent the best for a light sleepesr passing 4 times per night week days. the manager Kaye is very effiecient & the place is very well kept grounds & units alike - i can see why it it is number 1 rated in this town for sure - it deserves it - go to Robbies across the train line for a real feast & get discount on your meal package
