quiet, relaxing restaurant, good choose of well presented and with large quantities of starters, mains and very good desserts. nice and careful staff. The restaurant isn't in the truistic and central area of the nice town, but is very well worth a visit. Not far from the botanic garden.

Don't forget to stop by for a meal when you are driving down King Street. The place to go for that intimate dinner or if you are dining alone. But don't forget, it's also family friendly. A fantastic restaurant which caters to your needs, whether you are staying at the Aspen on King or dining in. Delicious food that is professionally prepared + room service & very warm decor.

Thank you Dave and staff for all the delicious meals this week.

We went for New Year's Eve dinner and were treated to some of the best food to be had. We had garlic bread for a starter then I had the pork belly which was succulent and had a divine taste. My hubby had pasta which was cooked to perfection along with stir fried vegetables which were also cooked perfectly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a delightful meal out. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is small but looks as if it has been recently updated, so first impressions were good, apart from a general food smell throughout (perhaps poor ventilation in the kitchen?) The cream of mushroom soup was very gloopy, with an odd flavour, and really was inedible.
The fish was supposed to come with tartare sauce, but came with just a small wedge of lemon. The fish was very bland and desperately needed either tartare or a nice sauce (e.g. lemon/butter). The tartare sauce appeared later in a separate dish, after having been requested, and was awful. It tasted days old, and of the cheapest mayonnaise mixed with other unidentifiable ingredients. The stir fry vegetables on the side had lost all crispness and were not suited at all to the rest of the dish.
