“Hang out with the locals”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

A nightly special is offered. We were hersitant to bet Chinese but it was great. So is the beer, both on tap and bottled. A tuesday in March with snow coming down still had the place full of mostly locals. Talkeetna is pricey, but the meals here are priced more for locals. Be sure to go early or you won't get a seat.

“Delicioso!”
Reviewed 1 December 2013 via mobile

I must say, Latitude 62 is a great restaurant! If you are looking for Talkeetna's true local culture make sure to stop here. Great staff, friendly servers and hard working cooks. Best breakfast in town! Delicious fluffy pancakes, french toast, hashbrowns, ham, reindeer sausage and eggs any style you'd like. Yum yum. Homemade soups made daily, best seafood chowder in the State! Expansive menu and best prices in town. Located by the tracks makes it a great stop before climbing onboard.

“All of Talkeetna, No Tourists”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

When you're just plain tired of all the tourists on Main Street, it's time to head to the Latitude and get some good food with the locals. Good breakfast, good dinner, full bar, and even views of Denali on a clear day!

“Classic Old Talkeetna Architecture, with good food!”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

While there is nothing special about this restaurant, the food was very good, service was very good, and yes locals do dine at the restaurant, but the locals dine at all of the restaurants in Talkeenta, there are not that many locals, and there are not that many restaurants in town. This restaurant is on the we will return list.
