High marks for this tour. The mountain was open ( no clouds ) we booked on the spot and where in the air within a half hour. One of the best tours we went on. The price was 60% YES 60% lower than a air tour we booked through our cruise line. Call direct and book this one ,or stop by there booth in " Down town" Talkeetna.

“Denali Air Tour & Glacier Landing”

This trip was FIRST CLASS! Worth every cent. Alex is a highly qualified and personable pilot and we all felt comfortable and having our breath taken away nearly every minute. The office staff is also friendly, efficient, and ensure that all your questions are answered and that you had the "trip of a lifetime"

“Timing is everything”

The best tour by any standards in Alaska but be sure you cater the time to go up on clear weather. Any thing less would not do justice to the views the McKinley range has to offer, as well as the $350 per person ticket price. We did a glacier landing on the Ruth glacier. It was a fantastic experience but that landing area is serve by so many aircraft that most can't stay very long on the ice.

“Spectacular Finale to a Great Vacation!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014 via mobile

If you're a believer that "things happen for a reason", as I am, you'll appreciate our running too late on Thursday to make our evening flight reservation. We called to reschedule for the following evening & due to some miscommunication, they thought we wanted the AM while we requested the PM & as it was, due to weather no flights left the ground that Friday. Out only chance was to go Saturday AM, our day to fly home from Anchorage that evening. So we had some cocktails & comforted ourselves from our disappointment with "things happen for a reason".

The next morning we woke to perfect skies & headed back to the airport.

The Talkeetna Air Taxi people were lovely. They provided overshoes to go over our hiking boots. We needed sunscreen & sunglasses more than coats. Our fleece jackets were enough, no gloves required either. We sat & waited for our names to be called. As there's room for 6 on these planes, we just had one couple of strangers traveling with us on the flight.

Our pilot, Mike, was such a nice guy. He does aerial stunts off season in Florida. Fascinating to talk to & gave us a wonderful explanation of the spectacular views during our Flightseeing to the south face of Mount McKinley. We were able to easily land on the glacier & experience the vast spance of snow & sky in the mountains. unforgettable & highly recommended!

“A trip of a life Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

We had made reservations but the day was cloudy. The staff was very understanding and very helpful in giving a level of expectation. They explained that the top of the mountain would be visible but we may not be able to land on the glacier. We were able to see if all. The pilot Richard was extremely knowledgeable and shared all his knowledge like it was his first flight. The views were sensational. Since they were not certain if we could land they said not to pay and we would just settle up depending on what level of trip we were able to see. That was totally unexpected but professional and accommodating. A company you want to do business with!
