This is a very special place. I've spent 10 days in September at this B&B to walk the coastal path and do some writing. For these activities this was the perfect spot. Elaine is so welcoming and helpful that after only a few days it already felt like staying with longtime friends. There's many good restaurants in Newport Pembs and its surroundings. If you' re out for full (fried) English breakfast than don't go here. The cooked breakfast is more like raspberries from the garden, fruits, fresh coffee, croissants and toast with jams, yoghurt and oats; it is a wonderful start of the day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Also friendly dog Walter is a great companion for your walks on the coast path or Carn Ingli.

We needed somewhere to stay at short notice and found this place purely by chance. This was very fortunate, as our experience was excellent. It's a lovely old building, renovated to a modern yet homely standard. The wood-burning stove was very much appreciated on a slightly chilly evening, and the home-made breakfast the following morning was delicious and nutritious!

Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Sir Benfro. Diolch!

This is a great B & B accomodation. At first glance it looks like a traditional country cottage but the inside has a modern and contempory feel. It is also homely and welcoming with a communal breakfast table and an area for guests to sit and relax. The owner Elaine was so helpful giving tips on good walks and quality places to eat in Newport and the surrounding area and liikes to chat to the guests staying with her. Walter is a friendly and playful dog around the place. It feels like a chalet which is no bad thing. The breakfast, though not traditional fair, are delicious with fresh fruit salads and yoghurt. This is one of the best B & Bs I have stayed in and would certainly try to book accomodation here again if I returned to Pembrokeshire on holiday. Pete

We had a week there, but would have like to stay longer, and will come
back for sure. The room we had was not big, but manageable - and we had lots
of staff due to changey weather. The rooms are recently renovated and offer very
good comfort. Personally I was very happy, as they prove a change to all this
shmaltzy fake victorian B+B places I have been to in the last 20 years.
The breakfast was great (I am veggie, but you can also ask for the carnivore menue).
Delicious fruit, homemade jam - really excellent. Most of all our host - Elaine - was very
friendly and very helpful, she really helped to make the most of our stay. What more can you ask for? I wil recommend this to friends and colleagues. Thanks for having us -
& regards to Walter (a very friendly dog)

Had a great time staying here for a weekend. Felt like I was meeting old friends again - Elaine treated us like that, rather than like guests. Location was great - lovely view out of bedroom window, and it was really close to St Mary's Church where we were attending a wedding. Close to village centre, without being on it - after seeing the amount of heavy farm machinery going through village at all hours, this was a big plus! Can't think of a single negative thing to say.

King Street Rooms is definitively not the standard B&B. The location, convenient for the great Carn Ingli walk, the excellent contemporary (yet respectful of the original features and local tradition) taste of the forniture and decoration, Elaine and Walter's warm welcome, the amazing breakfasts (with delicious fresh fruit salad and organic welsh cakes) in the bright communal lounge/ kitchen make a stay at King Street Rooms a memorable experience. Many thanks Elaine and Walter!
