Wonderful location and beautiful, well equipped and comfortable cottage. Owners welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay at Treffynnon again.

“What a wonderful setting - stunning”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We can not praise Treffynnon enough. It is spacious, warm, dry, well equip and yet not short of character. We all slept well, the adults due to the comfortable beds and the children following the excitement of settling in their loft room. We also enjoyed cooking on the Aga and I was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen was so well equip that some impromptu baking (cakes and bread) was possible. We had mixed weather and on sunny days made the most of the paddock and outside eating areas. On rainy days we were glad to have a dry utility room to hang our wet clothes in and pad barefoot over the underfloor heating to put the kettle on. It was a real home from home with the wild and beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside just outside the door.

“A very special place”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We have stayed at Treffynnon on a number of occasions. The accommodation over three floors is lovely, spacious and comfortable, so we can all spread out and relax. The house is away from the bustle of Newport, but close enough if we need anything. Steve and Martina, are warm and generous hosts, and seem to have thought of everything to make your stay a good one. However, it is the location, the amazing mountain landscape, the views over Newport and the sea which sets Treffynnon apart. From here you can walk for miles, enjoy the wonderful Pembrokeshire coastline and secluded bays; relax in the sunny garden or light a fire a cosy down for the evening. For us, this is the place to be for a traditional family holiday. It is special and we love being there!
