Me and my family consisting of two adults, two teenagers and a toddler got in the begining two rooms in the second floor next to each other but not connected to each other but we changed them to two rooms in the ground floor because we had a stroller, the staff refused to give us a door- connected rooms which they had plenty of and which we could finally get after that my daughter was bitten by bed bugs in various parts of her body .
One night the bathroom ceiling collapsed on my head , as you can see from the picture , the staff repaired the roof the next day, but I got no excuse or opportunity to change the room at the same night this happened. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere and is away from everything , so do not even think to be able to wander outside,
but a taxi ride to return in only two hours coast 30 euros if you want to go somewhere , any how the hotel has 8 stores in the hotel if you want to buy something but they are expensive.
The food is edible , there is only one restaurant in the all inclusive that you can vista without appointment and three small restaurants that you have to make a reservation to eat there, the oriental restaurant has the best food and environment but limited places .The workers there is nice with a smile all the time which is good.
Entertainment and animation team is OK.
The hotel is about 40 Km from the airport and taxi from the airport would coast 200-300 EGP for one way and 400-500 for round trip, the hotel taxi takes 300 EGP to take you to the airport so actually no need for the expensive busses as we reached the hotel by taxi before all of others.

We wanted a quite, sunny and high standard hotel and found it here. It's a near per location with a safe sandy beach that is adjacent to a wonderful coral reef. The multitude of different, colourful corals were also habituated by a rainbow assortment of fish that kept me snorkelling every day, sometimes for over an hour and half without the need for a wetsuit. The swimming pools had plenty of sun loungers though rather scarce around the two heated pools.

The king sea view first floor room was amongst the best we have ever experienced with extra touches like small night lights, a mosquito deterrent (that was not needed or used). It was also very peaceful, comfortable and restful.

The staff throughout were friendly and helpful, clearly very well trained and competent, even at peak times at meal times they could not be more attentive. The choice and quality of the meals was excellent and catered for a wide variety of tastes. The locally produced wine was mostly passable and better wine is available at extra cost.

My observation is that the hotel provides facilities for people with mobility difficulties and children of all ages. The short shuttle bus ride to the beach runs every ten minutes.

Room Tip: Higher rooms facing the sea have better views than some ground floor ones. We had number 2322 and we...

Having recently spent three weeks at the Hilton ,we would recommend to anyone . The weather in Jan/Feb can usually be guaranteed and this year was no exception. This was our second visit to this hotel ,and it was nice to be greeted with all the same staff from management to waiters. the food was up to the usual standards as were the drinks cocktails and wine. The hotel employs very friendly staff who are very helpful and obliging. Unfortunately I suffered a 24hr overnight stay in Port Ghalib Hospital with a severe chest infection (not to be recommended!!). upon my return to the Hilton the staff could not do enough for us and all credit to them for that. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday even allowing for the 24hrs out and look forward to our return maybe later in the year.

Room Tip: Room numbers in the 3000 range are ideally suited and central to the resort.

Perfect location if you want a nice calm week with lots of sun, ok food and three different poolareas away from the beach. Friendly staff, clean rooms and common areas including the restaurants. A bit noisy entertaintment during late dinner but I think you can avoide it if you stay there while it's warm enough to eat outside. We would absolutley concider coming back. Prefer Marsa Almam before Hurghada. Perfect beach for snorcling.
Ok food don't miss the barbicue outside

Me and my friend stayed at Hilton Marsa Alam for one week and it was perfect. The service in all departments were amazing and we were very well taken care of. During the day u could relax at the pool or the private beach, or u could do fun activities with the Animation team. Charlie and his animation team-crew had fun activities during the day, such as latino dance and aqua gym and during the evening they had amazing dance shows, musiq quizes and live entertainment. And they had fun activities suited for children as well. Activities for both kids and grown ups!
if u are adventures u can go snorkling, diving or visit the dolphin house with the diving center, located at the beach. it was an amazing day snorkling with sea turtles and by the corals. we even saw a sea cow! the guide was amazing.

Our best Egyptian vacation ever. If one is looking for go outside attraction
Marsa Alam region is not for him.
But if one need quiet, relaxing place with authentic touch of desert/Red Sea
environment - go there and enjoy.
Chartered airplane with dozens of tourists returning home is a perfect place to
collect opinion. Out of question - "our" Hilton appeared to be one of the best
place to choice in this area.
To be short positives - just few/difficult to list all
- new
- excellent staff and service (no baksheesh culture), smile, caring, helpful.
- perfect equipped rooms
- 4 different style swimming pools, two of them are heated,
3 with swim-in bars and one kids free zone.
- nice kinder garden.
- free internet in lobby.
- top level cleanse.
Abu Dabba is a value of its own. Sand beach, soft and easy access to the sea
water with sand covered seabed (well, with a little distance from Hilton's
private beach). Even one can not swim, or kids can enjoy snoring watching
fascinating underwater reef life.
Food is yet another Hilton's positive. It is clear the first importance is
quality. Variety? Contrary to other hotels in Egypt here they have not one, same
menu for 365 days.
Negatives ' just few
- lack of public toilets near swimming pools. That is outstanding! What kind of
architect did that? You have bars with plenty nice drinks and then need to run
to your room! It can be "catastrophic" especially for kids or elders.
- Spa service - limited and rather expensive. need to go to other hotel.
- Main restaurant serves only tasteless "American" coffee. Shame! Now days for
cappuccino, latte, espresso or chocolate it is just enough to install automatic
coffee machine for self service.
Worth to notice: manager of the restaurant hearing those complain assure that
they have already realized and management is working to solve problems. More, he
invited us for perfect cup of mocca.
Summary - 5 times in Egypt and this is a first hotel we are considering for the
second time stay.

Room Tip: to solve "toilet" need - ask for ground floor room as close as possible to swimming pool.

We spent 9 days in this hotel, in a sea view room.
What can I say that has not been said already here?
The staff is exceptional and makes this hotel a success!

Check-in: quick, we were rushed to the restaurant for lunch before it closed.
Then we filled in some paperwork and were taken to our room in a little golf cart.

Room:
Clean, nice, modern, comfortable big bed.
Nice bathroom with walk-in shower and necessary toiletries.
Terrace: bit on the small side and we didn't really have sun at any time of the day (room 1913)
Sea view: we could see the sea from far, as there is some land between the hotel and the sea.
There was a heated pool with pool bar in front of our room, which was nice. Not noisy or anything.

Our room was cleaned daily by Nageh, a very friendly nice guy!
He made some funny towel art (hearts, swans, crocodiles, using lots of flowers :-).
We were brought bathrobes on the second night as it did get a bit chilly at night, nice touch.

Food:
Catering to large international crowds is never easy. But the chef and all the staff at the Hilton sure did a great job!
Plenty of choice, warm, fresh and tasty! We loved Arabian nights on Friday :-)
- Breakfast: large choice, fresh egg station, fresh pancakes or waffles every day
- Lunch: large choice and sandwiches
- Dinner: large choice, themed different every day and fresh pasta station
And a large dessert buffet, very tasty, I'm not a big dessert fan but they convinced me ;-)
- Beach bar: we also had lunch a few times in the beach bar, mainly fries and fish burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, paninis... Tasty and excellent service!

We were lucky to be present at the Russian Christmas dinner, which was great again, and there was lots of smoked salmon, sushi, ... as well.

We made reservations one night for the Souk café, where we enjoyed nice middle-eastern food (mezze, grilled meat).
This is also part of the all in but has waiter service and a set menu. We enjoyed it a lot.

There are 2 other restaurants part of the all in where you need to make reservations, but we didn't try these. The food in the main restaurant was really nice as well so we were quite happy there.

The staff in the restaurant and bars work so hard but always with a big smile and time for a friendly word or joke. They really made our stay special!

The bars:
- we spent a lot of time in the Kush bar, the guys almost had our drinks ready by the time we sat down.
- we also had a few drinks in the beach bar, again, great service!

There are too many people to thank, I really hope the Hilton management is aware of how good their staff is!

Beach: yes it is a bit of a walk to the beach but not far at all! There is a little train but we didn'n try that.

The sea in front of the Hilton private beach cannot be accessed due to a protected coral reef (good thing!).

But you do have to walk a fair bit before you can enter the sea, which is fine when it's warmer I suppose. There was a lot of wind which made it quite chilly at times.
I snorkeled a few times and saw plenty of marine life, very nice!!

One thing I did not like was the hard selling massage & beauty shop guys and the shop owners in the little shopping souk in the hotel.
They would just not leave you alone. I agreed to 5 massages on the first day, so they kinda left me alone after that. And I had a pedicure, which was not bad but not great either and after that they still wouldn't leave us alone, trying to sell pedicures etc to my boyfriend.
They were hassling people on the beach and around the pool a lot. I understand Egypt's been hit hard due to the troubles in the last year, but this is not what I'd expect from a Hilton.
Also I did really overpay for some black seed oil in the shops, just make sure you know prices if you plan on buying something.

Anyway, I did enjoy 5 really good massages from Nada, a tiny Egyptian woman with golden hands and a warm smile! She and her colleagues work really hard and long hours and I hope they get the appreciation they deserve for it.

All in all, a very nice fun holiday to remember.
Would we go back? Hmm for the hotel itself yes immediately, the staff is superb!
For the location, not so much but that is a personal choice.

Thank you to all the staff, you really do make the difference!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are nice. I wouldn't go for the beach front room cause you are basically looking...
