We stayed the 6th to the 20th September 2013.
We arrived at 1 in the morming and Tarek the food and beverage manager greeted us and gave us a drink of juice which was greatly appreciated after a three hour transfer.
When we arrived there were only 10 guests , and we were the only british there. The staff treat us like royalty and didnt find any fault with any of them, all were friendly and happy to chat
Both mohammed and Mahmoud in the restaurant were lovely Mohammed was football daft and knew every team and player in the premiership and Mahmoud with his limited but good English nicknamed us Mr & Mrs.
The food in the resataurant in the first week was nice and we always found something to eat, they had a better selection and cooking station opened the second week as more guests arrived and a bigger selection of food.No bad stomachs or anything. The first week in the beach bar we had pizza cooked for each of us seperately with salad etc which is better however the second week was in the large serving tins which was a bit of a free for all so we tended to go up to the main hill view restarant for lunch if we were not diving, but still not bad and when we did eat there it was ok.
Mohamed in the beach bar (and also the shisha on an evening ) was really friendly and funny and kept our drinks topped up and popped down to bring drinks when we had been snorkeling.
The pools were cleaned everynight and the swim up pool bar was good.
Our room was massive and well cleaned everyday , fresh towels and bedding daily and a couple of towel arts on the bed.
Mustafa in the lobby bar was a smashing bar tender and always made sure we had a drink and brought them to the table , if we did walk to the bar we got told to sit down and he would bring the drinks out.
We both had a thai massage in the spa and this was really good and sorted a few aches and pains out would highly recommend it.
The beach was lovely and the snorkeling is amazing we saw turtles almost daily, it did get a bit murky in the afternoon but this is because its a sandy bay.
We saw stingrays ,puffer fish ,morays and masses of colourful fish every day .
We used the on site dive centre and had a brilliant time with ducks diving the staff were excellent and good fun and were excellent in their knowledge of the area.
The dives we did were amazing and dolphin house and marsa egla were amazing were I found a seahorse which made my trip.really recommend diving with these guys, thanks to mimo, Sophie, Sherrif, Mido (sausage lol) arrmanti , the speed boat driver and the guy who helped with our equipment everyday for some fab diving.
The entertainment was good and varied really enjoyed the african show and Chico and Tito were really good fun and worked really hard and came over to talk everyday.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish the british tour operators would bring some more english guests, most during our stay were Czech.
We would certainley return as we had a really relaxing time thanks to all the staff whom we met for a wonderful stay.
