Wow, I never saw so many dolphins at once during a diving!
It was an amazing short cruise with very good divings and good food as well.
Superb wall dive with a plateau. We were lucky enough to get sharks and then the biggest tuna any of us had ever seen. Fabulous dive site.
Sha'ab Marsa Alam is one of the best easy dive sites in the area especially suited to those starting out on their diving experience. It is easy to reach as its located only twenty minutes by boat to port of Marsa Alam. The water is crystal clear with very good visibility that allows you to enjoy the full beauty of the reef. Snorkelers can safely explore independently without the need for a guide whilst remaining in the interior, whilst outside the reef may there can be some issues with the current and waves. There is a great variety of sea life and fish in a natural and safe attol with many caves, canyons and pinnacles. The immaculate environment is a natural and safe refuge for dolphins that are happy to swim with you and on occasions you can also see whitetip reef sharks. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful day deciding whether or not diving should become part of their life !!
This is a nice dive site, but then they all are in Marsa Alam, lots of the usual Red Sea marine life (too many to list) and great vis, if you plan your visit accordingly.
Vis not very good, due to number of divers but also the choppy sea. Once closer to the reef the vis improved, but dive guides forewarned us of the vis.
Good for children thought a little pricey for what you saw. The marina itself is lovely and you can relax with a drink. Probable be better to go on the day Oceans Trip tan this little one.
