We stayed at Burnt Paw Cabins on the way up through Alaska and we enjoyed it so much we made reservations on the way back. They are roomy, clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The gift store is only steps away and its got a great selection of items. Their breakfast hit the spot and the girls cooking were really nice to visit with.

Room Tip: Reserve them ahead of time - they're pretty popular.

We needed somewhere to stay whilst travelling via Tok. My wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair so needs full handicap accessibility. I contacted Burnt Paw and Nancy sent me descriptions and photos so we booked. It exceeded expectations. The handicapped accessible cabin was perfect with roll in shower, higher toilet and well placed grab rails. The beds were the perfect height - not too high like a lot of places have gone in for which are a nightmare for disabled people especially if the are not very tall. Well done Burnt Paw.

Room Tip: Cabin 7 is the accessible cabin

A very reasonably priced place to stay, pet friendly and such a cute little cabin!
Lots of great Alaskan gifts at the gift store, and super friendly owners!

My wife, our two dogs and I stayed here during our trip down the ALCAN. Great service, great cabins, cool little gift shop. We told them that we would probably have a late check in, turned out to be later than we first excpeted but it was no problem. The owners stay right next to the cabins and we just knocked on their door and they got us our room. Truly is a pet friendly hotel. They do check the room before returning your depost but it was no big deal.

Room Tip: Try to keep the dogs off the beds, if you are running late just call them and let them know!

The cabins are amazing - super clean. The accessible cabin is very good with a really nice roll in shower.

The cabin theme for us was fireweed, which is very apprapo for this part of the world. The fireweed is everywhere.

The cabins have green roofs! Love it!

Breakfast was really good, and we had an opportunity to speak with one of the owners. She told us all sorts of stories. Including her hisband was the 11th place finisher in the 1973 Iditarod. He has the license plate to prove it!

The gift shop has a lot of interesting items and we picked up a few. This is a definate stop on the Alcan!

Room Tip: Definate stop on the Alcan!
