“A Great Place”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

Our two-roomed cabin was delightful and very well-equipped.Breakfast was served for all guests at a big table in Bob and Betty-Lou`s house and this was fun. Our fellow guests were interesting and breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, home-made pancakes and bacon and egg. We would definitely recommend this place and wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed here on our move to Alaska. We didn't know much of the area and needed a place to rest for the night. We were extremely impressed by the wooden cabins and the amenities offered inside. We came in with 3 pets, all of which were very happy here. We were shown plenty of places to take our dogs on a walk to and enjoyed the stay very much.

I HIGHLY recommend this B&B to anyone looking for one in Tok.

The owners were in Lancaster, while we were in Tok but we were well taken care of by the 2 young ladies who were taking care of the B & B. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. We stayed at the Cleft of the Rock 2 nights - one night in the Miner's Cabin on our way to Haines Junction and one night in the Sourdough Cabin on our way back. Both cabins were charming in their own way. We would recommend this B & B to anyone traveling through Tok. -Carol & Ray Lancaster, PA

This place is beautiful, if you are looking for a place to stay while on your way to Anchorage or Fairbanks this is the place to look for! A small cabin with a wilderness feel but modern! Free WiFi, breakfasts(cooked by the owners...mmm) It is quiet and a great place to relax..will come back over and over again.. Trust me you won't be dissapointed..

This was a good B&B to find as Tok has not got a lot going for it being a crossroads in the middle of nowhere. We stayed twice, on two occasions, once in the main house and once in the cabins, which were fairly basic but OK. The hosts were very welcoming, (and very religious, it seems), but provided a hearty breakfast at a family style table which enabled us to meet other travellers, which was good.

For evening meals - the only show in town is Fast Eddies, which provides copious amounts of average fare food, in a very busy atmosphere

Room Tip: cabins give more privacy - satellite TV can be difficult to work

Off the road a bit, this place has several cozy cabins. Simple but with all you need for a nice stay and very comfortable. Love the cabin decor. Breakfast is in a separate house where the hosts live. It's an excellent hardy breakfast including freshly cut fruit, fresh off the griddle pancakes, reindeer sausage, and home made breads. A separate Bibical scripture is at each place seating -a nice touch for us. No wireless in cabins but we were welcome to come into their home to check email. Loved walking in their woods looking at all the wild mushrooms (while keeping an eye to my back due to frequent sightings of moose and bears). The place is for sale but hope if it's sold, new owners will keep up the hospitable traditions.
