I visited Vega-Bray observatory in November, 2001, stayed 3 nights, did a lot of telescope observing, and saw the last magnificent Leonid meteor shower of our lives. It is a very comfortable and welcoming place. I wrote a large review of it (and compared it to the similar, but different, StarHillInn). Vega-Bray is a great winter getaway with good (not great) telescopes and outstanding southern (not western or northern) dark-sky horizons.
